Lebron 8 South Beach Restoration (Clear Swoosh On Toe)

Hey wassup Niketalk in the middle of a restoration and I have a question. If I paint over the glossy swoosh on the toe of the  Lebron 8 South Beach  and hit it with a high gloss will it look like the way it suppose to look? Thanks answer would be greatly appreciated.

High gloss most likely would make it look like that shiny plastic or leather that looks too shining. I would say use Angelus Matte finisher, it says Matte but it has a gloss to it
