Hot 97 Summer Jam 2014 Lineup

I would love to see A$AP there but quite frankly they haven't really put out anything new since last year and they performed all those last year. however if they gonna put Troy ave on the main stage and not show Vado any love :smh:.

Vado has the street base has bigger songs & has been slowly putting in more radio work.

I am 100% sure that Nas & 50 will both kill the stage however, say what you want about 50 but he has stadium rockers for days and puts on a great performance.
 
excited for a nas show? he is nyquil on stage. 50 is gonna be doing the same arm movement he's been doing since '01. This is a setlist even Ninjahood couldn't defend.
 
I don't really need 50 to be jumping around... the music that he has made will forever turn concerts up....

Nas i've only seen as part of someone else's performance but considering Illmatic turned 20 i would believe he's gonna do plenty off that album along with his other various hits.

I rather that than anyone out of MMG or a Future and i like both.
 
I couldn't agree more with that "counterfeit 50" description that @sickoftalk gave to Troy Ave. There's a difference between paying homage and putting a fresh spin on NY music, vs just simply regurgitating old NY music, and he's definitely doing the latter.
 
This is perhaps the worst lineup I have ever seen for anything.

this is the same concert series that had jayz bring out michael jackson?

besides 50/nas/nicki/wayne rest should be on the small stage outside.
 
Thinking of going of the strength of 50, Nas, Roots, and Bronson. Maybe Wiz.

I would hope 50 and Wiz don't do their new ****.
 
Wish I was there for Nas, 50, Bronson and The Roots. Maybe Wiz if he does old **** too but I doubt it.

Seen Nas and Bronson a few times before tho. Might try to catch em on the stream.
