I been looking to start taking this weight gainer

and basically it says do not take if you have a disease including a whole bunch of sicknesses and one of them is glaucoma (eye disease that leads to blindness)

which I am currently a suspect for. My doctors will confirm if I have it after one last test at the end of this month.

I asked bestpricenutrition on youtube if its ok and they wrote

If you are otherwise healthy and use as directed its fine, those warnings have to be on the bottle by law (you can thank lawyers and politicians for the hyperbolic, alarmist warnings which are on all products and now are ignored by most as a result). Hope this helps.

so I just wanted to ask NT for another opinion because I know some of yall know these things inside and out.

will it be safe for me to take this? I have read before on the internet that too much protein can increase glaucoma risk but 

there arent too much studies on it.....

any help?

Nah but seriously should be cool. I get all my nutrition stuff from GNC and my weight has been climbing a bit too quickly whereas it was almost impossible for me to gain weight beforehand.

No expert though, went to GNC with a meathead homie and just bought what he said was best and he's dumb as hell lol so do your research.

I wouldn't doubt it I'm only 19 and was older and bigger then the dude working there at 160 lbs.

I just have their generic mostly red with a black top weight gainer, 100% whey, and creatine.
 
Whey proton + whole milk + peanut butter + oats is a good enough poverty mass gainer. I'm too poor so I use almond milk and no oats
 
Why are you wasting your time with weight gainers? Just eat. It's not hard bro.

You can also make your own.

Whole milk
Scoop of natural peanut butter
2 scoops of whey protein
Banana
Strawberries
Ice
Spinach
Oats


Way better than that other mess.
 
I was on that Up Your Mass for a while. Gained like 50 lbs In a year. Made some great gains on that stuff. Have to be careful with that though, all that sugar, and possibility of cholesterol.

I disagree, you can use it for it's intended purpose or for times you need a quick meal. I drink it for breakfast along with fruit and it's satisfies me till noon.

sure but you can make a healthier and more natural choice by using a simple recipe. other have posted some in this thread.

but then again, its all preference
 
We gave you a different solution though. This could all be avoided. You don't need it. Simple as that.

how is that a different solution? everything people recommended me has protein powder in it..

buy a protein powder?

lasts up to a month if you use a scoop a day.

make a nice big shake with oats, yogurt/greek, peanut butter, fruits, anything else you can think of
