I wear my black poor man htms all the time and my MC's are still deadstock... Prolly one of my all time favorite "daily driver" shoes. Just sayin

Them black to blue fades are not looking that good. I think the solids are going to come out better. It looked good until it faded to the light blue.

I agree. I did a black pair and they just looked really cheap and definitely not worth the $250+ pricetag. I ended up returning them.

Anybody over 10,000 posts is allowed to make atrocious IDs.  Seems like an unwritten rule.

I noticed that a while ago. Once you reach NT God level or you're a mod, you also rarely ever see someone disagree. S Dub or BigJ could come in here and do the same exact thing as pokezach and almost nothing would happen...but that's none of my business

The fade flyknits remind me of when I used to die my yellow timbs black, back in the day. It never came out right.

agreed. i see some atrocious iDs in here and it was just funny to me how Nters give them a pass because they are made by established NTers. it has never been my style to point out anyones wack iDs...but if thats your style...then that needs to go across the board

same thing with better designs... newbie NTer+dope iD=1 or 2 reps vs. OG Nter+dope iD=10 or more reps

I really like that asics glV inspired pair as well.



Only a few IDs I can say I don't like, most are pretty nice. I think my fav MC IDs is Ty's pair, and it has nothing to do with his NT status, it's just something different, that worked very well with the MC upper.
 
........and let's not forget, these shoes are Nike ID, ID=individually designed, not Nike DFNTA (designed for Niketalks approval).

Just because the shoe is ugly to some of y'all, doesn't mean it's ugly to the person that ordered it.
 
I don't think it's that some of the IDs are ugly (because of course that is subjective), i think it's more of the fact that the painted uppers on the solid and fade options just look cheap and terrible.  And then you consider the price and it's ever more terrible

Solid uppers are nice to me... I actually opted for solid when the flyknit option first dropped, I had the option to go MC, but I liked what I made better than what I could do with the MC.

Fades... I haven't seen good enough pics, or in person to make judgement. But from what I've seen, I won't chance it and order a pair. Too much money for a half *** fade job.
 
let me clarify on the solid uppers. the original black or gray uppers look nice.  But all the new painted ones look horrible so far (not the peoples designs, but the quality of the upper itself)

just saying that some are so critical over newbies iDs and then you hear nothing when established NTers post equally "horrible" iDs

How do you determine they're "horrible" and "terrible" from pics? Painted on or not. Some of you are a little harsh with your opinions, but would be crying if someone said the same about your ID or purchase.
