And still I can't figure out why you feel the need to respond so animated.

I still don't feel like they're painted. I still feel like they used crappy flyknit. So you did all that rah rah for nothing as usual.

And you still provided no useful info as to why it's so obvious to you that they just airbrushed over a gray upper...which btw, very well could be the case, but isn't IMO
Agree to disagree. And i posted pics and my opinion a while back.

Wow...finally got my shipment notice for my MC lows. Original delivery date of 9/16. Ordered within an hour of the initial tweet. It's a no imagination wolf grey sole, backtab, and swoosh.

don't think I've seen a wolf grey back tab yet..

see how the black knit is visible?
IMO the reason the blk is visible and consistent is because its the grey FK that has either been sprayed or dyed Red

Your shoe is suppose to be Red not Red with hits of blk... comparing to real FK shoe you wont see hits of blk it will be a solid weave of red.. at least the pair I owned

If you look at the pics you posted and compare it to a Grey pair the hits of blk are in the same exact location as your red pair

The same with the blue pair below you can see hits of blk

IMO of the whole KB9 FK ID thing:

Nike only made two FK Blk and Grey.. They used another overlay for MC and dyed or painted the rest...

I got mine early this morning too for the same 9/16 date.

if you mean this...

then no its not fake
but i think there are at least 2 levels of knit in the shoe. IMO
if they sprayed the finished mold a solid color, i dont see how the black could be knitted in so well. its not random either.
dont get me wrong, i kinda wish it was airbrushed, maybe the color would be deeper. but i cant see how it was with the black being so visible on the outer layer

These reds could of been a failed product run. Too many materials created to discard them all. Why not make them an iD, then rework the red FK. That's how I imagine these came about. Then they simply made other colors. Things like this happen a lot. What they shouldn't have done is charge so much for these iDs that clearly looks of lower quality than what was released.

My photos are a pittle blury, my galaxy note 3 doesn't have OIS. Just got my pair I ordered 8/11 within 30 minutes of the QS tweet. These are amazing in person, but definitely wish I went a half size up (hopefully they're easier to put on after wearing for a while). GITD swoosh and heel accent, everything else blacked out with white speckle on the midsole.

I'll try putting better quality ones out later, to everyone waiting on their pairs.... they're coming! I hope you all like them when you get them.

All 3 of my pairs are now shipped - first pair left China on the 19th and is on the truck for delivery today. Appreciate Nike hitting the turbo button with shipping.

I agree. This was my basic argument. The overall quality isn't as good as the gr but they cost more. For $260 they could have done a lot better. I think all of the flyknit general releases look amazing in person. The flyknit IDs have so much potential but nike would rather cut corners. If they wanted they could simply release quick strike options weekly then make them to order --which is the whole premise of nike Id anyway.

Crappy flyknit or airbrushed, its clear that the material isn't worth the $260. I think they dyed the shoes but didn't let them sit in the dye bath long enough. Shoe customizers can probably go to town on these. Anyone paying over retail for IDs are also making a huge mistake. The quality isn't as good as the general releases.

I totally agree. Either way, it's not a good job. Never said it was.

I have flip flopped and I agree it is sprayed. The only reason the black shows is because it was a half *** job.

I def was wrong. But either way, it isn't worth the extra money.

If I had money to blow I'd probably get a pair of solids are fades and trying adding some dye myself. The fracture IDs look really good too.

My MC's finally came in. Quality on them is not too good. The flyknit in the toe box is popping out a bit like it wasn't glued down all the way to the fuse. And I have so much black on mines especially in the front of the toe box. I'll take better looks at home but damn this kinda sucks.

Guys, Guys,.cmon now obviously you can believe what ya want, thats totally fine, but seriously all ya gotta do is look behind the flynit upper (Inside the shoe) the whole thing is Grey, AKA... "Airbrushed". My "Solids" & "Fades" have 100% Grey on the interior of the Flynit.
and yur right for $266 bucks Nike should have gave us better quality, but ya can alwaz Return them for a full refund dont 4get!..lol
