Corey Feldman just got awesome news -- Richard Donner told us he's making a sequel to "The Goonies" ... and wants to bring back the entire cast.

Donner was signing autographs in Bev Hills when he dropped the bombshell ... genuinely surprising our photog.

What Donner didn't say ... whether he'll recast the main characters and bring in Corey, Josh Brolin, Sean Astin and Data for cameos, or if these guys will actually play the same roles 28 years later. A gnarly but interesting thought.

Goonies never say die!

YES. I hope they play themselves but not in a major part. I hope they come just to help the new crew along the way.

AND can we get some black Goonies this time?

Seen goonies not too long ago.
Didn't live up to the hype.

You guys might be interested in 20th century boys.
The plot is kind of similar.

In 1969, young boys Kenji, Otcho, Yo****sune and Maruo build, in an empty field, a hideout they call their secret base, in which they and their friends can get together to share manga and stolen pornographic magazines and listen to a radio. To celebrate the event, Otcho draws a symbol for the base that would represent their friendship. After their friends Yukiji and Donkey join the gang, they imagine a future scenario where villains would try to destroy the world, and in which the boys would stand up and fight; this scenario is transcribed and labelled Book of Prophecy (よげんの書 Yogen no sho?).

i was refering to the manga. 20th century boys is the creator's best work, from what i've read. I'm watching an anime that was adapted from his comic. So far it's been great.

Saw this lil bit ago, I'll anxious to see how it turns out. I liked the original. It's prolly gonna be wack though.
