Mad Men Season 7 Discussion Thread - Final Episodes - SERIES FINALE

I loved the season premier. The subtle way they showed don pulling strings. The way they kept saying dawns names and we all hoped it was don still there. The fact my dude finally turned down some yams

Yeah he has one little in to sneak his way back in not some master plan. If we find out he's actually controlling dude who's running creative now then I'd be like :wow:

Damn Don really living that got nothing to do all day life and he's not enjoying it. I would've straight up been living like the Wolf of wall st. if I was him. Son steady spying on his own agency.

Peggy's a ******* loser

Crazy how a different part in your hair or combover can make you look slightly older.

Lou Avery is such a lame.

Lou sucks.

Peggy. :smh:

Sometimes she shows much promise but then there's moments like this.

Peggy's just going through a hard time, both at home and at work.

She's not challenged in her work without Don. She's missing the companionship that Ted brought her at work.. she's missing the romance he brought to her personally.

Nice to see Joan moving on up a bit. I like the conflict brewing between the partners over Pete and all that.. but it didn't feel as important since it was happening over the phone  I get they're probably planting the seeds, especially with the elevator conversation between Jim and Roger, so I'll trust them there.

I liked the Don and Sally plot. Her telling him she loves him clearly hit Don hard  and that was a sweet moment.

Don :smokin

IDK what I am gonna do when this show is over. ):

Nice to see positive interaction between him and his daughter.

And i ******* hate Lou. Talkin to peggy like that. How does that happen?

I'm glad that the drama between partners is picking up. I know it's only the 2nd episode of the season, but since it's only half the season showing this year, I want it to feel like a full season with a beginning middle and end.

Joan making boss moves :pimp:

Enjoying the scenes between Don and Sally too

I believe I read an interview that said the season, despite being split into two, will feel more like two mini seasons with a traditional season premieres and finales.

Splitting seasons into 2 :smh:

Damn it AMC what part of the game is that. They'll prolly sell each half of a season for full price when the blu-ray come out too :smh:

Its AMC hustling, the final season crap they're doing effectively forces the creators to make two mini season instead of one long season. AMC gets to profit an extra year, while decreasing their budgets per season.

She should just go jerk off more dudes at the movies.

I was cringing on how many L's Peggy took this episode :smh:

You can't help but feel bad for Don at this point, burying himself in a pile of lies. Glad to see his relationship with his daughter get better when he begins to tell the truth.

 at all the BS Joan has to put up with; now she has that 2nd floor office and Dawn with her own office :pimp:

not to mention it makes them eliginle for two years worth of awards in one season.
