Really bittersweet night tomorrow.. the show definitely needed an end as I felt you explored all you could with these characters without people not caring anymore, but the product they kept putting out was so stellar that you don't want to see it go.

Going to have to watch the second showing, so won't be posting til late. Rewatched the Pilot and noticed the painting in Don's office really mirrors the picture on the first page (the seasonal poster). I've heard the finale really connects the dots and heavily goes back to the first episode as well.

I'm sure we'll all be satisfied with the ending.. show's too good to not have good one.

It's been real nice with this marathon though

Caught up on some fav characters, sad moments (still wish Don chose Faye :smh: ), and boss scenes and lines :pimp:

I just wish I was able to catch the 1st season again. I missed most of that.

As for the finale, bittersweet for sure cuz I know I'm just gonna be wanting more but I'm not buying the rumors or what Weiner allegedly said about some fans not being satisfied with Don's story concluding. We've been getting steady and consistent masterful storytelling when it involves Don, look at the penultimate ep alone. He'd have to be mostly absent in the finale for fans to be upset.

I'm not expecting any out of the blue bull ****.

Finally caught up on the last five episodes. I love this show. Real curious to see what happens to everyone.

I have to say Cooper's painting of that Japanese woman enjoying her seafood and that scene of Peggy walking through the new office carrying the painting, wearing sunglasses, and walking like a boss with a cigarette in her mouth was too awesome.

Betty's story is sad. It's similar to what I had to witness with a family member. She shouldn't push away Sally like that and give her the responsibility of the funeral arrangements. Betty will always act like Betty I guess. She doesn't have much time left though and that limited time should be spent with her kids.

Funny how joan and pete are already out the door of the new place. don took a random trip across the country.

I wonder if Caity Lotz will make a cameo again. Always nice to see her.

Geez, Joan in that top.

Her old guy is going to have a heart attack from that coke.

Peggy telling Pete "A thing like that" was a great goodbye between those two characters.. That's basically Pete's catchphrase

Sally with her hands on her hips with Bobby, making dinner... becoming an adult.

I think tht seminar leader is Helen Slater. She was the og Supergirl and also Billie Jean. She still looks kinda good.
