These r just a kind of experiment with kix and some art. The tower is from Waterbury CT. They're going to be entered in a vans contest. I can definitely appreciate the details involved in the customs, but they would look much better with a clean one coloured midsole (white, or black) and maybe a few more layers of paint here and there. 
 
Oh i absolutely agree man. These weren't influenced by me. They were made for a vans contest by students where. My mother teaches art. I got inspired after seeing them and my mother is a phenomenal artist so we're going to see what we could come up with on a pair of Nike. It'll be fun and you can rest assured they'll appeal to more people. They're gonna be hot and crispy.
