read somewhere that the life expectancy for hiv folks are about the same as people without if they are on medication. basically, there are drugs out there that will keep you alive. my former boss has hiv and dude is pretty healthy. he just takes a lot of drugs
i remember when he told me, i was completely shocked. guess he went hard back in the 80s
why would a drug company want to give you a cure when they can basically charge you for the rest of your life for medicine

Because homosexual men are at the highest risk of acquiring HIV. HIV is much harder to get from vaginal sex than it is from anal sex.

Don't let the thread title fool you. This is for people who are at high risk for contracting HIV. This is not some vaccine that people can get and be good to go. It's a medicine that you'd have to take regularly and is basically for people in relationships with other people who are positive (if I remember correctly when this his headlines last year).

Look...I have no problems with homosexuals. I think they deserve the same exact rights that everyone else is entitled to. it's the same make infected busting inside a woman or having having anal sec with another male. The problem is that MSM its more of an epidemic in the US because they are more wreckless and are less likely to use protection.
