Wait, I never said that Maino is a better rapper than Jay. Let's not get foolish. Don't be mad at me because Jay's last 5 albums were dog ****. Jay been weak since that "retirement" and Black Album BS tour. I'm not buying into his BS off his name and because people blindly buy into his repetitive music. "I'm out here on a beach, I'm with the hottest chick in the game, I'm on CNN, million dollar paintings" I'm good off that.

This is true. It's impressive that he's still relevant. Hasn't had a good album in years and when he was making good albums, he wasn't even in the top 5 for most popular rappers.

Two things that saved his career and made him even bigger.

1. Saying he was the best rapper alive. No one thought that, then everyone started saying after he did.

2. Marrying one of the biggest female icons of our generation.
 
Ye won. At least Ye speaks up about the stuff that he believes in. Subliminal Jay will be downplaying any relation to Five Percenters by next week.
