Anyone else think Ericka and the son left John? Evie and Meg are scumbags. If they bring this show back I hope they get their just deserts.

If theres a season 3 id expect it to move to a new town. Theres no reason for the original people of Jarden to want to stay there.

Yeah Erika would definitely be gone, daughter ditched the fam and she was already going to leave John anyway.

If they get a third season I hope we get more on Evie's back story. She seemed really sad the entire time. It sounds like John's incarceration had a lot to do with her sadness but I wonder if she truly hates John and wants to get away from him? Her message to her mom about "you understand" plus Erika's revelation about wanting to leave John makes me think that everyone just tolerated dude but no one really wants to be around him.

wow man...just watched the finale. honestly some of the best acting I've ever seen on television. music and acting were a1 all season.

honestly wouldn't be mad if the show didn't come back for a 3rd season.

seeing Matt and Kevin finally catching a dub really brought it all together.

I dont think we really need a back story. We got what we needed from the whole baby carrot scene and Micahels story in the church. That told us why she basically is the way she is.

lookin thru IG, reddit, twitter .. seeing some folks photoshopped their pics to be like the departed in the opening credits

anybody know how :nerd:

frfr someone get on this asap.

Great show, sucks that more people dont watch it though. I hope it gets renewed.

What if Kev actually died in that last earthquake/or the gun shot wound., and he's in heaven with all his loved ones, or projections of them. That would be nuts.

If you think about, like someone here said I think, John is the new Kevin. His life is in shambles right now. Wife is about to leave him, his god-fearing son is confused, the daughter hates him, and he himself is an emotional wreck

If theres a season 3, i could see them picking up where we left off and John trying to piece the fam & life back together same way Kevin tried in season 1 and some of season 2.

 @ Kev ending back up in purgatory. That's some Twilight Zone ****. Son is lucky it was easy to get back. I thought he was gonna have to kill and throw somebody in a well again.

I liked the meaning of him putting on his officer uniform back on and then being reborn. I assume that's a hint of him eventually having to police the lawlessness of Jarden and deal with Meg's GR.

Great way ending it with Kev surveying the room and having the majority of his family with him.

I wonder what John came home to see?

It was a really good finale for a great S2.

I'd understand if there's no S3 but with the improved writing I'm interested in what they'd do with another 10 eps. However, ending it with the GR invading/infecting Jarden, the last place int he world that was unaffected mostly by the departures and having a lot of ppl react the way John did "I don't understand" is a good way to end the show cuz I wouldn't be surprised if from there they'd have to get all weird crazy and confusing again to tell another set of stories over another 20 eps.

Definitely good to see Matt get a W. The way he wanted her back in town had me thinking it'd wear off soon.

The whole time John was walking up to his door up until the earthquake, i was expecting to hear a gun shot .. think Erika shot him or someone lol

wow amazing finale to an amazing season.

if it ends now, I'm glad it ended on the note that it did but if it gets renewed i'd still be souped.

Just finished S1 and onto S2. Body is ready.

Btw do they ever explain the first opening sequence of S2 with the prego lady? Jw because it's been killing me to find out lol

Is there anything to explain?

Take it in it's most practical and natural form. Preggo lady was in a cave, went to pee, earthquake trapped and most likely killed her whole group, she sees an eagle/falcon, has the baby, goes off to search for food? a new group of hunters and gatherers?, she sees the eagle/falcon one more time, gets bit by poisonous snake and dies, baby gets saved by some other cave woman. Eagle/falcon shows up again. Fin.

I'm leaning on the hugs being real for Wayne. The magical negroes on this show haven't ever not been magical like they claim. Wayne says he can hug pain away and somehow convinces rich ppl to pay him for it. Eddie Winslow says he can speak with the dead and proves it, says he can tell your future off a hand print and does so in an ominous manner. John's dad says he can be a guide to help ppl get rid of their evil spirits that only they can see and he does exactly that partially when Kevin has to get rid of his.

Now you may try to pick a part some of these like I have; no concrete proof for Wayne he just never did get a whole lot of focus in S1, and you can explain away Kevin's whole thing as mental illness that runs in the family and a mass hallucination but Eddie Winslow been 100% on point. No explaining how he knew about the convo Meg had with her moms.

Just finished Ep 4 and I feel like the girls ran away as well, especially after Nora story about dude running away from his wife acting like he was one of the departed lol.

Finale was ******* incredible. I haven't been that engaged in an episode of TV for a while.

Looking back, it was kinda iffy for them to kill Kevin then bring him back a second time. But I think it holds a lot of significance. It either made John a believer, or is gonna make him go crazy (the piano version of that "Where Is My Mind" song started playing as John broke down crying in the urgent care). And if word spreads, Kevin could become sort of magical figure himself.

I think there is a lot there for a season 3. Scavenger town, the new Kevin, the broken John, the GR, Kevin (really came back from the dead) vs. his son (fake hugs, false hope), the Australian guy... why Kevin "deserved" to come back to life...

Kevin singing karaoke was incredible... I thought they were gonna end it there too
