Dog I'm still tryna figure out the whole stringent plot at this point...I don't think I can make it through another season of this. The mysteries are cool until their answers are just more mysteries. I understand that the book doesn't give a finalization of what happened on 10/14, but I just really don't like how that translates to television after 8 episodes.

In all honesty, for this show to truly work and get a solid fan base going, I think a practical science/real world factor is going to have to be put into play. Or just a flat out supernatural/religious explanation needs to spread out lol. 

There's been hella religious motifs and allusions, so I'm not counting that out as I know they've changed things from the book. Regardless the show is a disaster and I can't help but watch week after week. 

Deff reading the book once this season is done so I can view the next season from more of an objective view point.

I mean, I figured as much... after thinking about it, which is my complaint. You need to digest every scene for a little. Shows need to have some parts that are just clear and straightforward that you can just comprehend on the spot. Sometimes dialogue just needs to spell out what's happening/what chars are thinking.

This show is still interesting, just often in a frustrating way.
 
I have no sympathy for Jill and her problems. She seems like the type of person that doesn't want to see her dad happy and is trying to torpedo his relationship. You go to stay with your mom when she doesn't care about you or your problems. I know Jill doesn't know about her mom throwing her gift out of the window, but she abandoned her family which is unacceptable. Jill knows seeing her mom will make her dad angry which is her point.
 
I think mostly Jill misses her mom, maybe part of her reason is to anger her dad like you said. Her dad is going crazy and gets angry all the time and she has no other family there to help deal with him. She did act like a major douche to Aimee though. Seems like it would take a lot to make that girl mad and Jill went for the cheap shot.

The twins are in the friendliest of friend zones. Jill and Aimee are both the type that want to loosen their legs.

Jill has them following Nora in their car and sneaking into her house and they get no action. At least that long haired dude got to fap while laying next to her.

one thing about Kevin's dog killing friend, he was talking to the voices like Kevin's dad does, just noticed that when I watched the episode again last night

I would like to read to the book to know what is going on with the National Geographic from May 1972, who the voices are and what they want Kevin to do, I really don't care about what actually happened on the day the 2 percent disappeared, I would rather find out what is going on with the supernatural stuff

We all know aimee bout that action, she let dude smash wothout hesitation at that party. Jill want it but to emotionally wrapped up in other ish

That first or second ep gave me the impression that the twins double teamed Jill that one night she didn't come home.

My initial opinion of them were that they were gay. But i was like the odds of both being gay is slim (i would think lol) but they seem pretty cool though.

So the very first ep for 5 min was focused on that lady with the baby? Who is she and what happened with her? To me seems like they should have started it with someone more sognificant to the show (main character)

Id prob lose my mind if someone just up n disappeared like that in broad day light ...

Seriously hope we get an answer before this show gets pulled cuz they better deliver in season 2 or.its a wrap
 
I think the writers are just going to troll until the show is cancelled honestly.


They going to have ****** looking online for Nat Geo books from 73' and ****, losing their minds like Kev.

I was surprised Jill didn't say sorry to Aimee and tell her to stay, but if she needs a place to stay she can come stay with daddy, I got a spot for her at my crib
