I purchased the road because of this thread and I am about 40 pages in, it's crazy how it's written. I like it, kinda slow and depressing but good.

that was vicious...

but good.. i hated that lady.

at least she spoke

might be a prisoner of the moment type thing, but that was one of the best openings i've seen.

Show has gotten better as the weeks go on IMO. Another solid episode tonight. We DK why the rapture even occurred yet, which is frustrating, but I think it's moving along and we'll see more unfold with the few episodes that are left.

Or am I alone in thinking that?

there's definitely a lot of (what seems like at the moment) filler.. who knows if they'll explain half the crap they're getting into but at the rate their going, every episode they introduce a new subplot and it doesn't seem like anything from the first 5 episodes has been touched on. I understand it's supposed to be about how these people are coping with the disappearances... but why have all these things happen and have them accumulate if you're just going to concentrate on 'feelings/dealings' of the situation.

definitely starting to get a bit impatient, but i'll stick around for the first season just to see if there's any hint of a resolution to anything.

Pastor and the dude shooting dogs are the best characters

I was happy when that GR lady got snatched up but I didnt know she would get done in like THAT :wow:

This broad blowing the whistle :rolleyes

These GR ***** are really irking me

At this point I'm becoming indifferent yet will watch again next week, I've never felt like this towards a show. This is not a good thing btw

the hell was going on?!

I love that piano song when it comes on, so damn depressing

HBO set the bar for stoning scenes.

At least we know for sure that the white, bald Mike Vick is real and not a figment of Chief imagination...BUT ARE HIS SHIRTS REAL? WAS THAT INDIAN DUDE REAL?

Would've liked to have seen the immediate reaction to the white walkers stealing those pictures.

So Chief didn't bang his daughter's friend & was just trolling in them previews; I'm patiently waiting for him to take down the lady with no family.

Hated that butch GR so glad she's gone but the way they did her in

.

Glad they established that Mr. 24/7 tobacco actually exists.

Does Jill's slutty friend not have a home/family or what?

Pretty crazy that a government entity (ATFEC) will just come in & "clean house."

Marvelous acting by the actress that plays Patty.

I know in some shows not everything gets answered directly (e.g. The Sopranos) but how the **** can the daughter or her friend not ever address that the kitchen got tore up & the fridge is still beat in this episode
