Ish bout to get real :wow: :smokin

That trailer after EP2 better not give me false hope. The trailer was flames

The tension of when the black family comes up on the lake had me

Dude would have killed him if he found him down there

Only thing about that end scene ..

Kevin was in the lake, so hes obviously all wet and muddy as we can see. He touches the car with his hand and his face smudges the window. He also grabs the handle.

Dad and son pull up not even a minute later, theres now way any of that is dry, yet alone not visible since the dad actually looked in to the car when he called Evie's cell

Im think Kevin tried to kill himself and the eartquake happened

I wouldve flipped my ish too Nora puttin out 3mil on that POS house tho

Another black dude with special powers

Hope this Patti crap doesnt last long, I cant stand her character

Of all the people to bring back, they choose patti, would have preferred that black false prophet from season 1

They got a new black false prophet in Eddie Winslow lol

srs though I don't like the Patti character either, I guess it's just another way for them to keep the schizo/voices/imaginary pepole angle going

Just started ep 2. I had to check IMDB to make sure I was on s2 ep2 the way they decide to start off this weeks ep with the found baby, after showing them with the baby in the new town in ep1.

The Leftovers really push that envelope of trying to lose us don't they.

Anyway, what I wanted to point out before that ramble was IMDB's ranking of this episode, :wow: one of the highest ratings I've ever seen. I think a Tyrant ep had like 9.8 last season. (And Margot Qualley has one of the nicest mouths I've seen)

It was basically all a flashback episode leading up to the Earthquake, filled in all the gaps. I thought it was well done, showed what everyone's state of mind was

I knew they would show how Kevin really got that cut on his forehead

This episode is perfection. I can see why it rated so high now.

Nora's character is so hot man. She's down AF, I love her.

What they did in the beginning is something I wish more shows would do with it's characters. Just tell each other the truth. Granted what Kev and Nora did was reveal some deep dark secrets.

 @ this world though. What state must they be in if they're just offering up white babies to be adopted to families already adopting another kid

Nora crazy for spending 3 mil on an unseen house. I know she shook departures might happen again but that town won't stop it. Let them MIT guys make her think it's strictly geographical.

I thought Kev was just freaking out cuz he killed Patty and it was all guilt but it's pretty clear he got the voices now. I wonder if that's how it works; every person you kill, you get a new voice in your head? He bugging thinking loud music is gonna save him  That slam on the stove is just the start. I thought Patty was gone for good but this is a cool and creepy way to bring this actress back.

 @ sleepwalking Kev trying to commit that. Would've been funny to see him jump in the lake, start drowning only for the earthquake to drain out all the water and him just laying passed out with the fishes.

Kev's dad  Now I can watch a whole other weird show just following his crazy ***.

I was unsure about the sound of it but showing how they got to Jarden was interesting. Gotta a better sense of what this town means to the world. That entrance was half getting in to Disney World. I couldn't imagine be ing a local and wanting to visit another town or state. It'd be like constantly trying to get through traffic when you're at the airport.

This episode... well damn.

I like what they're doing with Patti. I think I liked her character last season but I don't really remember to be honest. My favorite moment of the episode was when she says "uh oh" at the end

Also really liking the "vibe" of the town so far

 @ this world though. What state must they be in if they're just offering up white babies to be adopted to families already adopting another kid

This caught me so off guard, I was wondering if there was something I was missing

Nora

bought that shh like a boss

edit: finished just now, damn interested to see where they're headed. kind of stupid that the main character who didn't talk for 8 episodes straight all of a sudden wants to talk to him  - season has started off well.

She bought it like money was about to no longer be needed.

Kev with the "bish wtf you say..?" face. I love Nora though, her character's too dope. Found it interesting when Patti said "Hard to tell if they're part of your story of you're apart of theirs"

They got a new black false prophet in Eddie Winslow lol

They got Eddie Winslow and the black dude that the son went to visit. That same dude is who stopped Kevin in the visitors center and told him that he could help him with his problem

- season has started off well.

She talked a lot actually. She was the leader of the group. She talks whenever someone new joins and then she took Laurie out to lunch that day and kept trying to get her to speak.

Whats going to be interesting is whats going in Matt's life. And his reasons for moving to Jarden. Im still not convinced on his wife, and the fact she just stares off in to space and never moves her head the slightest bit is just creepy af.

I think the town itself has its own secrets and most of the people just look the other way to the bad that goes on because they had no departures.

I would have freaked out listening to that MIT dude say that I wouldve gone too if I were sitting at the table.

Nora tho  :smokin

So now with kevin being at the lake it means the girls dodnt just disappear in the water. The car was parked in the same spot it was during the day in opening of EP 1. So if kevin is tied to a cender block and under water where he was, he would have at least saw/heard some kind of splash right?

Kevin is mentally unstable, just like his father.

Dude digs up the body and tries to turn himself in to the cops:Fail

Dude ties a cinder block to his foot and jumps in the Pond:Fail

No telling what he does next, but I imagine it's going to be some next level creepiness

His next level is some kinda plan with John. A brief second in that trailer seemed like he was riding in the fire truck

So what i havent figured out .. he dumped the pills in season 1, but what exactly were those pills?

To control his sleep walking? To make him not hear voices? Some kind of stablizer? Or all 3?

Kevin and Nora though, idk how thats gonna end up. He was semi happy and then 3 seconds later was like wtf did i get myself into with a new baby. Son got on headphones and just ignoring the baby crying.

this aint the leftovers anymore

tom and his mom's angst

kevin not understanding why the lady who lost her whole gamily would want desperately to live in a town with none

the only good thing, THE WHITE SHIRTS ARE BACK!

and what was with the leaves in this ep? they focused a lot on the green leaves of plants, maybe some significance?

so the house they were going to rent, is the house eddie winslow lived in that john burned down?

and they just magically had a house FOR SALE in the town at the exact same time?

too many coincidences/plot contrivances
