I took it as psychological torment type deal

It almost felt like Tom was gonna go back to the GR as a real member. He told his mom "they know something" implying that he wanted to return even after they roughed him up

Guess not though since he's trying to play Wayne now
 
the members of the gr have to give their earthly possessions/money when they join

my question is where did the mom get money from?

I thought he did tell Laurie he was going back after he asked her about Meg.

Then she went to jail and when he got her out and they were in the car they came up with the new plan.

We dont know that much since it dodnt happen and wont now.

But they were on to the scheme already which is how the whole incident came about after he laughed and said they dont communicate.


Meg should have just sent a message and let the dudes beat him up or something. GR aint about that life.

My assumption for the money is pawning possessions and the departure insurance money (what Nora did for work)


I dont even wanna know how bad those houses smell with all that chain smoking.
 
i think her stunt was just a demonstration of life and death essentially

like you dont really feel more "alive" than when your in the *****

and i guess burning alive would be the "death" equivalent of that

since the gr whole point is that nothing really means anything anymore, then i guess the point was to show that tom himself is meaningless

like you can be "alive" or "dead" just that quick
 
Meg had that oversized landing strip just marinating that middle too.
She struck me as a full on bush kind of sport, unleash that beast girl, let the sides grow, I need it sticking out the sides of the panties man

When she had her son tell the story
It seems like they gonna latch onto him
And instead of helping them inadvertently create another cult

This season is getting good but damn still no story progression past that first episode
 
I really wish they weren't just stealing Wayne's idea for the new cult. I don't mind them starting one but the premise is unoriginal and not interesting after Wayne did it first

Yeah i agree if thats what the plan is then its headed that way and she will not be benefiting those people at all maybe hurt them even worse


Yeah at this rate season 2 will need 20 episodes for something to unfoil

Does it have to be original though?

I mean if Tom has Wayne's power now or is just deciding to lie about it and run with that it makes sense to use the same game plan for starting a cult. In a sense it's not even new, just picking up with a new Wayne as leader. Only difference is they're clearly against the GR.
 
So i wonder what happened to the baby of Waynes that was actually a boy?

Remember in EP1 he was telling Tom Christine is soecial and protect her, God spoke to him about his son and all this other stuff. Well Christine had a girl wonder what the other chick had?

Were they the only 2 to escape the compound, everyone else was gettin shot up
 
I meant from a storyline/plot perspective. Just my opinion I found the storyline interesting season 1 but to have to go through it again season 2.. Meh

Outside of the Departure, I am hoping that no other magical angle will become a plot device. The earthquake and the hugs I don't consider mystical yet
 
Regarding Austalia, there's a scene in the last episode where the TV is on in the background and the news reporter is heard talking about a man who came back from the other side and resides outside of Perth, Australia.

Really intrigued about this Australia connection now. And next episode ol' boy ready to put the paws on Kevin :lol:

I'm totally down with them picking up the Hug stuff. 

Why start over when he was a part of it.

He was more than just a soldier in that group, he was made. I would have done the same thing, it's already built
