NEW Title Sequence for Season 2 (Much "happier" country version than Season 1 was) kinda took influence from TD.

Lets use spoilers if youre discussing the show, at least until Tuesday

I canr wait to watch it tonight whenever it airs on HBOgo

Same ole confusing as Ep 1

Def got me hooked on this family though they weird AF. Kevin & John gonna either bump heads or be partners in crime

Same ****
Idk why I expected something different
Show is confusing as **** as always
But keeps me hooked
Prolly shoulda rewatched last years season finale
Kinda forgot a lil of the plot lines
Like I forgot what was up with the pastor dude
Or if there was even something up to begin with
And didn't he know cop dude killed the leader of that silent group
Damn can't remember

Opening scene(s) had me :x . Very confused about all that but I'm sure it'll be explained; had biblical vibes to it.

John definitely has something going weird on with him. His "attempted murder" story that didn't go any further than that

Had a feeling something was up with the water when Evie was first swimming in it early in the ep. At that moment I thought she was going to get taken under but they waited until the end.

I think the opening scenes just gave u an idea on the town or area where it's focused this season. Cause where the cave woman died was the same place the daughter was swimming. Where the cave woman lives is the same place as the town. And I think besides showing a lot of earthquakes happen there. It was also showing maybe metaphorically that an earthquake in that town always cause death as well as new life. Maybe I'm looking too deep
But that eagle or bird or whatever will show up again IMO as some sort of symbol or sign that something's going to happen. Also it may cause trouble with the town with the water going missing cause it seems like they hold the water in high regard and think it has mystical properties. What a crazy way to go though
Swallowed up by the earth :smh:

I will watch again tonight to make sure and gather all my thoughts. I dont think the daughter is "missing" or just randomly disappeared though

this effin show is just weird for the sake of it

so much dumb unexplained ish

the guy in the miracle tower

the guy who cut that goats throat in the middle of the diner

the girls running naked in the woods

regina king burying a bird in box

the girl watering the lawn in a ****** wedding dress

that wack *** fake hymn her choir group was singing

john's beef with eddie winslow was so stupid

and regina king not caring that her husband out here burning down houses

the mystery ****** apple pie

just terrible, i might have to drop this bs show

edit: and that wack as **** intro goodness gracious this whole ish was terrible

I think that family is more circled around the daughter instead of the dad. The son knows more about what she's up to ..

That woods scene threw me way off .. shes gotta be in some kind of cult/satanic ritual thing because of the departures

Seeing the town people set up little vendor booths, I didnt connect that with the very 1st season 2 trailer until after i finished Ep1. First trailer we saw had cars lined up for miles with the highway sign saying Jarden how many ever miles, so that had to be in line with the buses of people coming in right?

We all know what we are getting into.

I struggled through most of season 1 but before I knew it, I was hooked even when nothing made sense.

I'm expecting the same ish here. I know that somewhere down the line, I'll be hooked even though I still won't understand stuff until the season finale (if I'm lucky).

I'm ready for the ride. John seems like a crazy mother.......

That beginning!!!   The writers straight up told you prepare yourselves for another season of **** that won't make sense but you can't help but watch.

I watched online just now so I had to double check I didn't accidentally click on some Apocalypto prequel movie or something. Whole thing just reminded me why I wouldn't want to experience certain time periods  And yeah I get where the pregnant woman was is where the town is today and the earthquakes but still.

What's good about this show is the acting is good, they cast really well, and the writing for this grounded situation is good while being confusing for no reason  I'd like to know how is it several writers can accomplish the same weird plots and ****. Just the way they built the world of this town

Out here slitting goat's necks and ****. This dude Eddie Winslow moved from Chicago to Texas to be a con man and he still taking Ls  :smh: (This show and their black guys with magic powers though  )

I really wouldn't mind if this show kept the premise and concept and became an anthology. In many ways John is just as crazy as Kevin. I expect them to clash right after John has problems with the pastor. When Kevin starts blacking out and doing wild **** Can't wait!

Oh yeah, is this a new thing now? Jogging naked in the wilderness? I'm down.
