 @ filling Egyptian chalices with his cum and drinking it. Patty a nasty joker.

So Grandpa had an "adversary" that made him hurt his son/possible molest him? Then he died, came back to life and was better? Not buying it.

Feel bad for Kevin in that scene meeting Laurie. Like how she explained away Patty with facts. Helpful given she was a therapist. Son is clearly going mad like his dad. She has some nerve being that rational about his problems when she herself has been so ****** up.

 @ that ending.

Guess Kevin is gonna have a higher resiliency to poison/something like a heroin OD  :smh:

I can only assume something like John got the results of the hand print, told his son, his son told grandpa and they came up with this plan to kill Kevin I guess? That won't get Evie back if that's the case though so I'm probably wrong.

On a side note, I saw nothing about the hugs in this ep at all.

Kevin went to see Virgil (first time) before he did the palm print didnt he? Thats when Virgil told him about going to the other side.

That whole John telling Michael and so on .. nah fam thats not John's M.O. you know he's about handling folks himself. How he got Eddie Winslow and Dr. Feelgood or w/e his name was

Laurie brought the hugs up when she was talking to Kevin in the motel room, and she said how they made it up. Thats basically why Tom left her and then she packed up n went to Miracle.

Yeah I figured it was an unlikely scenario.

I was just trying to make sense of it. The other option is the son is crazy enough to go along with the grandpa when he told him he'd poison Kevin and kill himself and that just raises more questions  :smh: That's not being a "guide"

And yeah, grandpa said Kevin already came to him and he knew things only Kevin could tell him so he must've done it while sleepwalking. I know he mentioned going to the other side but he kept saying temporary. He said he did it once himself and to the homeless looking dude on the platform who was a success story.

I must've missed that hug part when I re-watched it. Seemed like he asked to talk and then it just skipped to her asking about Patty and telling him he was having a psychotic break.

How could you miss the hug part? It was damn near a 5 minute explanation of why the son got pissed and took off

This season is far and away better than S1. And I'm assuming Michael's reaction in the preview is regarding Kevin coming back to life.

I do wonder why Kevin went to Virgil after figuring he'd keep Laurie around to get rid of Patti. I'm also like, how did he think he'd get away with convincing Nora to come back then have her walk in the crib with Laurie there like shhh is gravy?

rewatching this right now ... John knew damn well they didnt have cutters in the firehouse. He wanted that hand print

we all know John sneaky like that

I watched it online cuz I didn't watch it last night.

Like I said as I watched, Kevin asked to come in and talk at Laurie's motel room. It immediately cut to him sitting/lying on the bed and Laurie asking him if Patty was around when he went to see her and then she explained why it's all in his head and he's having a psychotic break like his father and mentioning stuff like what prompted her to join the GR.

I'll watch again on HBO to catch it.

I'm most likely reaching, but in the last episode, the grandfather had a scar on the back of his hand....almost as if he once had a nail go through his hand....

i think thats why he went to virgil

having laurie around is cool now that nora's gone, but he wants nora back

and he cant have both laurie and nora

so he went to virgil for "the final solution" so he could get nora back and once and for all be done with patty

Yeah i took it like that.

At the point where he went to talk to Laurie he was losing hope in getting Nora back. Kevin was breaking down, seemed like he just needed someone. I guess having Laurie again would have sufficed aince he was trying to get her a wristband to stay in Miracle.

Once he got that phone call from Nora though, all that changed lol

I assume Jill just hasn't agreed to do nude scenes. Not that I really want to see her naked.

:rolleyes Of course you don't,.........................................It might be in her contract, because I think she and Evie are around the same age on the show even though they are both over 18 in real life.

Do you guys think that Virgil could actually see Patti?

He obviously couldn't, because when Kevin was talking to her Virgil was looking around.

Anyone catch patty's pedophile comment about Virgil when she was trying to talk Kevin out of killing himself?

So I guess John shot his father for molesting one of his kids...I'm guessing Evie since the brother was still going to see him.

I think John was the one that was molested. If it was one of the kids, Virgil would be deader than dead. Plus I recall at John's birthday party, his wife saying that John was locked up while she was pregnant with the twins. Those of you who remember that ep correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah i think it was this. Because Virgil said he hurt him, and John hurt him back. So John at some point snapped and shot him.

Yup

Yes he is a sneaky mofo, but what makes you think he didn't have the cutters?

Jill does not do it for me. I was more in to her friend from S1.

I'm more than sure Kevin must've smashed while he was sleepwalking

I'm more in to Jill's real life mother.

Virgil killed himself so he can now guide Kevin to where he needs to go in the afterlife. This is why the epinephrine is never used because Virgil knows if he told Him what he really had to do, fight his own demons; that he would not agree to take the poison without a definitive way back. The reason for this lies in the book of the divine comedy. Virgil is Dante's guide through the 7 levels of hell. He guides him through these to reach heaven, but Virgil is also a torchered soul, who can't not enter the gates but only guide him to where he needs be. In killing himself he atoned for his sins but ultimately sacrifices himself to help Kevin find his path. Truly brilliant.

My dude Virgil the OG Triple OG Nigerian scammer.

Forget scamming people outta of their ole boy scamming people outta their life.
laugh.gif

Can't wait to see how this plays out and what made Michael curse like that.

Nora dipping on Kevin's crazy ***; like she doesn't have her own issues.

The whole thing though is the lie goes back to show that it isn't really tested. Virgil has no success stories. So Kevin would've saw it for what it was just a crazy dude that'd get him killed.

He said he did this before but obviously he did not kill himself to help guide another persons with this problem and when his son shot him he obviously didn't have a guide if he thought he fought his demon or w/e.

Kevin wouldn't have just declined cuz there's no way back, he would've declined cuz it's all lie an just crazy bull ****.

Michael is taking kevin out to the woods and leaving his body, after 3 days (and fighting Patti) he will awake like Erika's bird

what if patti wints and possesses him?
nerd.gif

edit: and do you think we'll actually see a physical fight?

but if all of what virgil said was bs, then couldnt patti have just told kevin it was bs and theyre not going to fight?

she seemed to think it was true too, if she really is her own entity and not a part of kevins psyche

Yeah when shemade him stop and then yelled no when he drank it ... she either 1. Knew it was suicide and Virgil was killing himself or 2. She didnt want to have to battle it out with kevin knowing he would get rid of her

Yeah what if she wins but i dont think thats happening ..

I bet they dont even have Kevin come back this season, we have to wait until season 3 to see if he comes back (assuming theres a season 3 cuz i would think ratings went up with how good this season is)

Finally caught up
