Can someone put me on where to purchase high quality ones online or in the LA area? Trying to find "clicker" types, if that's the correct term. How much am I expected to spend on one of these? I was at a piercing shop and they were selling for about $150. Not sure if that's normal or not.

Edit - Do they also make them out of silver/gold? Whats that looking like?

So obviously he has gone out and did his own research and wants advice. Asking online especially when there may be others more knowledgeable than you is not only smart, but efficient. You're going hard for no reason right now.

I'm looking into septum piercings also so if people have good info I'd appreciate it. My ears are at a 00, I'm looking for more tunnels too :nerd:
 
Never heard of them, just googled septum ring. First twenty were girls, then dudes are shooting three for the first hundred...I've decided they are suspect for dudes.
 
I think they do make them in silver and gold, just have to look for it. Also you could get one made at a jewelry store.
 
I'm not too sure how to purchase jewelry online. What to look for, and how it'll even be considered 'real'. What I did read though was that these can only be made with 14k gold, because if it was a solid 24k, it would be too soft, and easily bendable. As well, I have no idea what gauge size to choose? It is a fresh piercing, maybe two weeks old? Yahoo tells me standard size is 14. Any truth to that?
