Google "How do I add chars to MUGEN"

how do i get mugen for mac?
There was once a MacMUGEN but idk how good it was. You can google it you might find something. If it works then everything else will fall in line because all you really need is for MUGEN itself to work

how do i get mugen for mac?

I run mine through a wineskin wrapper. It acts as a virtual machine that allows me to run windows .exe's on OS X.

Idk what that is or why you think it's better but there's now a way to play MUGEN online via IKEMEN so I doubt it's better

Its 100x better than MUGEN. Suggest you do some research.

Its definitely not 100x better. Although it does give you more control over full game development. The mugen community is more active and better stuff comes out on mugen.

2d Fighter Maker is better for full game development rather than enjoying it as a small hobby. Mugen is better for someone who wants to casually plug and play. And 2DFM also has barely any english support. Most of the people who use it are Japanese or can understand/read Japanese. A lot of Doujin games are made with 2DFM.

Mugen has english documentation and it caught on better because of that. Nobody is about to learn Japanese just so they can play Goku vs Ryu.

2DFM has less crap out because it isn't as widely known or as popular.

But really in the end it all comes down to which one you feel more comfortable coding in. And learning MUGEN is easier... Because like I said... Its in english...

The engines are pretty equal as far as what they are capable of. Outside of apparently 2DFM can go online. But again... You have to make a full game and distribute it for the online to work.

Wasn't there a DBZ RPG on snes that was similar to an open world but obviously with SNES graphics?

I think it was on the game boy advance or something. Either way I remember it now being good at all. Played like Zelda basically

^I don't recall that.

I feel tempted to download that char set via the link you provided. I know it's gonna cut into my design life. lol. I might do it anyway doe doe doe.

Naw naw naw. Its older than all of those

Its Dragonball Z - Legend of the Super Saiyan on Super Famicom

I remember playing the japanese rom as a kid. Didn't know what the hell I was doing. Just randomly choosing options and going wherever the game took me. Then an english version dropped :wow:

This game + Super Bouten 2/3 + Hyper Dimension are the best non PSX/Saturn DBZ games.

But this **** right here will always be my favorite DBZ game :pimp:

I remember I BEGGED my mom to get me this for christmas one year. There was this mom and pop shop that sold japanese games about 45min-1 hour away from us. She took me and told me I could get one game, but then the guy at the store expained to her how you either need a Japanese playstation or getting an adapter. By the end of everything I came out with 2 DBZ games and the adapter  :pimp:

They just never dropped a SF styled DBZ game or game with a good system that you could learn and master. It was pretty much always some basic system. If Capcom would have really teamed up with Bandai back then to make a 2d Fighter on SFA or even SSFII's level, it would probably be one of the best fighters ever. The combo possibilities with DBZ characters :smh: :x

But thats what Cybaster and Balthazar (the creators of OP's video) are aiming to do. They've made everything from the ground up. Its taken them like 3 years to fully plan, sprite, and code just 5-6 characters during their free time. Imagine what Capcom could have done :x :x

Mugen + napster + 56k + aol im = fun

And viruses lol

The good ol' days

I used to burn em on discs and take them to school. **** was HUGE in my school. Cats would sell games for $5. Just a bunch of downloaded characters and random stages with no sound.

Before class in the morning, you'd see groups of kids in the library on the PC's. Teachers thought we were doing work.... Yeah right

Late pass, but you basically described Super Dragon Ball Z for the PS2.

Its just mugen but with all Dbz stuff

Mugen is a pc game that allows you to make characters and have them face each other. Anyone from dbz, street fighter, fatal fury or any other game

Real cool. The imagination people have is crazy. Ssj3 broly, god ken, demon akuma, omega tom hanks (yes the actor) and the f1 button (the f 1 key kills the second player automatically if you press it)
