LMAO @ Phil's blow up. He sold me too when I saw his confidence on his post play interviews, I'm such a sucker. I picked Angel C. To win again and dude is 6 over.

**added on edit: And Bubba is like the coolest cat ever man, Love that dudes attitude

The first round of the 2014 Masters has come and gone and it seems Tigers absence hasn't kept Golf's most prestigious tournament from moving on. Friday morning will begin with a top 5 that plans on making their way just one step closer to the Green Jacket. With my pick of Angel Cabrera to win a second Green Jacket being 6 strokes over and the seemingly confident Phil Mickelson at a +4, will this be the first time in over 10 years that we have a repeat champion at Augusta? It sure looks like this may very well be the case after watching the first round play of current Champion, Adam Scott. We shall see what Round two holds for the field.

Scott could be leading at -5 if not for double-bogey at 12. Cards are lined for him to repeat, but I think he falters to "G-Mac," "Shrek," or Rory.

Round 2 predictions: Woodland and Walker drop. McDowell and Schwartzel each make up 2 strokes to sit at -2 and -1 respectively.

I think Walker rides it to the end for sure as a clear cut threat, Woodland dropping I can see. I have a feeling Rory can quite possibly sneak way ahead by tournaments end and leave the field 5+ strokes back, he seems comfortable and his swing looks money, reminds me of his 2011 stroll when he was killing everyone and blew that lead under pressure.

I'm glad Graeme played well today for you..this I am

And don't get me started on Scott ( who I honestly think will repeat) and that long putter. I know its regulation but, even when I use one as a 19 handicap, I feel like I'm cheating. It's a putter that takes the fun and genius out of putting.

I credit Stevie on the bag more than the belly putter. I've always loved Scott's pure swing and Rickie's athletic one.

Need Day to get to par at least, if not -1 by end of second round.

Just got home. Back up at 9 for a 18-hour day.

Oh yea for sure @ Steve on the bag. That caddy move will keep him on top in a bunch of tournaments. A BUNCH! That dude is money, Tiger was an idiot for letting him go. Geez what a stupid move

I'll go on a limb and say Rory takes the second round lead at -6.

Small push from Watney to get to -2 or -3.

In the clubhouse with that score too.

Couples moving up too!

Sergio Garcia, Mickelson, Ernie Els, Dustin Johnson, Zach Johnson, Luke Donald, Jason Dufner, and Patrick Reed all miss the cut. Looks like this will be an interesting Third round tomorrow. I'm hoping Couples can pick up another one or two strokes manana and have some energy left for Sunday.

And this Spieth kid looks like he's been on tour for years, smooth and calm. Nice

I wonder if Keegan wore those Concorde golf shoes he had made. I've never seen a hightop golf shoe before those. Fresh though.

That man Gary Woodland just destroyed that front 9 with a 30, that will put a player back in contention for sure.

I really hope that Couples can keep his energy and body strength up for this round. I think that yoga he's been doing had helped. Good for him

Bubba well in control now. Some of those drives have been ridiculous. They'll be "Bubba-proofing" ANGC before we know it.

Bubba man...so awesome.

Really don't see how anyone can't like the dude...wears his emotions on his sleeve, adopts a kid, strong Christian, breast cancer supporter, funny guy that doesn't take himself too seriously...
