History Channel's Vikings

Is anyone watching this show? I think it is pretty good. I saw season 1 on Amazon prime and season 2 has been great too.

Yeah I watch it. It plays here in Asia all the time on tv lol. I watched season 1 and am caught up with season 2 now as well. It's a bit frustrating because it could be sooooo epic, but sometimes (not as much this season) seems so small scale.

They talk about raiding another country and then it's like 50 dudes max lol. I guess if Game of Thrones wasn't out in the airwaves to show what a historicalish bloodythirsty show should be this show would be much more intriguing. I keep expecting too much, but a lot of what happens is him (Ragnar) looking around with crazy eyes like he's got some big plan.

Not hating at all though, it's a take my money entertainment level still for me. Better than most stuff out there.

I started watching it recently. It is pretty good.

It is also shaping up to become an origins story of my screen name so that's pretty cool. Considering the liberties that the writers have taken with actual history, I can imagine Alfred emerging from a nuclear blast and declaring "from this day forth, I shall be known as Rex Anglorum!"
