Would Mase be in Diddy/Hov/Nas territory had he never left the game?

true, but fab essentially took the style Ma$e brought to the table and made it his own.

I feel Mase was admired more for his overall swag and appeal rather than his skill on the mic even though he was nice with the rhymes. He was just that smooth, Harlem dude with the laid back flow. I'm a fan of his but definitely wouldn't put him up against those guys.
Eh, IDK I mean Kanye is the number 1 rapper in the world on the same premise, and Wayne hasn't rapped well for nearly 8 years.

I think Mase had all the potential in the world, he just left the game too soon. I mean multi-platinum and #1 in the game at 18. That's undebatable stuff right there.

LOL.  Once again you have brought great shame upon your username and you continue to be an embarrassment to the black community, day in and day out.  That's if you are even black to begin with.  Something about your username and comments just reeks of you being a white supremacist masquerading around the boards as someone black.

He probably just meant Kanye is considered the #1 most popular rapper in the world right now.  Why you have to do him like that?

He been salty ever since I called his man crush Jay Z a sellout.

I'm an embarrassment to the black community? I'm not the one with 15k posts on an anonymous forum. Go outside, and get a job, or better yet-learn something. I don't have to defend my blackness to you bruh, I have degrees. And yes they keep me warm at night. Dude be quoting me like white people quote shakespeare. Hop-off "brothaman"

There's really no telling what direction his career might have gone in. For all we know he might have pulled a cam move and switched back to murda mase. Mase was lyrical but dumbed his #%^* down since everybody was embracing the laid back smooth flow. But had he not left, he probably would have went at it with cam since they had unfinished business from the whole horse and carriage thing.
