Is there a huge balling difference between real and fake kicks?

My friend Johnathan recently purchased a pair of Lebron 8 "Big Bang's", which turned out to be fake's. Being a nice dude, I took them off his hands for the extra low so I could ball in them... but they actually feel less supportive then Lebron 8 usually do (I've balled in them multiple times)
Just Askin if I should ball in these or not...

No. They'll fall apart quick.

If you can bend it into a ball just use them to cut the grass or shovel snow.

This corny bum came in here and had the kahoonas to admit to being 1 of them bums balling in fake kicks on the court. Son burn this and go to the outlet and get you a $30 pair if Nike's.

There is no difference OP. San Antonio Spur and three time NBA Champ Manu Ginobli wears fakes. Also, Philadelphia 76er Tony Wroten has been known to wear fakes. These are NBA players.

with stuff like this happeneding, the quality of reals is been decreasing...

I got them because my original balling shoes (some kd 5s) are done... not really caring on status from wearing fugazi stuff or not.. it's ball, it's about skill, not the kicks. I guess it's a crime to use shoes I would otherwise not even look at, but it's whateva :smh:
And yes I meant 9 sorry

I bought a pair of XIXs on ebay back in 05.... when they arrived they were fakes. They felt AWFUL. I was furious. No way would I try to hoop in those. You could feel a pebble if you stepped on one. Better off with chucks

Fixed.

you be a fool to pay near 200$ for a pair of sneakers to ball in while a 50$ pair will work.
youre not paying for quality, more for looks.

the fakes probably perform just as well to begin with, but they probably wont last as long.
