Legit check for the Toro Bravo 4's. I have the Varsity reds and they are legit. The toros look the same, but I Just want some other peoples opinions though just to confirm they are. Thanks! Sorry for the tons of pictures. I also got some playoff 12's in the back Im going to to a legit check later on. Thank you everyone!

Thanks homie! Appreciate your insight. Care to look at some playoff 12's I bought. Ill put a legit check up soon.

I think these are legit also. I initially thought that the red color seemed a bit off but I think its probably do to the lighting since everything else seems on point. The tongue looks good and not choopy at all and the air bubble has that correct yellow tint to it

What about the production date it seems pretty close about a month and I've notice other shoes with a 2/3 month gap

Hey man,

Long time lurker on this forum, and I have had many experiences with GM/unauthorized kicks thinking they were real, and personally, I own a pair of unauthorized Cav 4's, and the tounge is fat and thick.. much like the picture you have of the toros, and the black lining goes to far over the tounge.. That's my two cents.

I would be skeptical... because the box does not have a sticker of any authorized retailer either i.e. eastbay, champs, etc.  From my experiences with gm 4's i am almost certain these are a GM pair, box is a little beat from the shipping, and no authorized retailer sticker; along with the tounge shape.

I'd be careful with this pair, personally, I would stay away, but apparently a lot of people think it's legit.

Boxes wit stickers from big retail stores are only on there from tha footlocker umbrella. Footlocker, eastbay, champs sports. Nike store and finish line don't have retail stickers. So just cause tha box doesn't have a sticker doesn't mean it's fake.

Like others said, shoes look good. Box looks good and shoes look good

Agreed. And sometimes the stores don't always remember to put the sticker on the top left of the box either. main thing to look for is the blue QC stamp in the box and/or the gold QC sticker they use now too.

I have gotten shoes from Finishline and Nike.com and they are only about a month of production so I dont think its that.

Yeah I feel you. I was looking at other legit Toro Bravo tounges, and I havnt really seen any toungs that are perfectly shaped. My varsity red 4's are perfect but I think its because its mesh or a different material.

Also, I have gotten plenty of boxes from authorized retail stores and the box came in bad shape. My Jordan 12 playoff box came in beat up shape too, but they are legit. I been comparing my varsity red 4 and the toro bravo and there really isnt a difference. I think the quality is also better on the toros as well. There is no glue stains, pre creases, or even paint chips.

Hey I did a in detail comparison. Here are some pictures. Keep in mid both feel the same and fit the same. Boxes are different. The toros came with the heel stick and the varsity reds didnt. Also both boxes are the same color and dimension. On another note the toro bravo has a gold qc sticker while the varsity reds dont have it. Here are some pictures and some on feets with both of them on.

The toung is fat because thats how it was made compared to other 4's. Its got like a Jordan 3 back of the toung. Just looking it up.

Yea my toro 4's only have the gold sticker QC stamp as well, it's nothing new, but lately JB has been doing sticker and/or stamp in the past year.

For sure, then everything checks out clean then. I was wondering one last thing about the toungs thickness. Is it normal for a tounge on the 4 to be fat and not thin? The varsity 4's are thin thats why. I might just sell this pair now and see if I can pick one up on the finish line restock.

I'm sure it's natural for them to be a bit thicker, it seems like that's how they made them.

from the toro 4 release thread, you can see clearly they're thicker than Bred 4/Thunder 4 tongues, it's just the way they were made.
