Flight Lite High Returns for Holiday '14

More pics of the University Red cw. I'll likely pass on all the '14 releases since I have the blk/purp and the wht/red/bk from '08.
 
Considering pulling the trigger... 

For those who copped, how do they fit ? Never owned the OG's actually.

Caught the "White men can't jump" pair on the low, £28 shipped from Crooked Tongues only days before they announced their closure.

Why do the black purple look like trash this time around? Is it because they used two different types of nubuck on the upper instead of one?

Also is that white black red an og colorway? All i rember is the black purple, white and volt or citron, and a white blue orange for the hi? Or was that another flight lite shoe?

Nailed it on the black/purples. Last time they were 99.9% accurate. This time they did the 2 different types of materials on the uppers, and destroyed the look of the shoe.

Those white/black/reds weren't an og released color, but I think they were a TB/PE type deal. Almost positive I remember guys on the Bulls and Blazers wearing them. Only highs released to the public were black/purple, white/black/citron, white/black/infrared (or Whatever the technical name of the Sydney Dean color is), and white/blue/orange (that have never retroed).

REALLY hoping that now the navy/teal combo is coming back in style, they'll pull their heads out of their a-holes and release the navy/neo-teal lows. One of my favorite shoes of all time.

Uh oh, they're getting closer (but not close enough...)
Like the dudes said above; the contrasting nubuck is an issue.
Seeing those lows w/ the same nubuck problem is a bummer.
We're about to see a flood of Pippen drops though, so who knows, maybe we'll be afforded a few surprises.

I just got into the flight lite's. Gonna try and get the hyper jades and the white men can't jump joints from the outlets.
