Maybe Nike and eastbay are experimenting and might start carrying the huge sizes on eastbay if this goes well? who knows. Don't most retros usually stop at like 14 these days?

some stores carry up to sz18. but it's a rare occurence.

i've seen belair v's in sz15/16, fear pack v sz17 , kilroy pack ix's etc etc

I just want to know for normal RD ON THE J's , where does the Big Man buy his shoe if it's not online. This picture

This picture above clearly shows you can buy up to size 18, I haven't noticed that before on the retros because I click 12, but if they release in 15-18 on RD, and we all know the online sites sale out and retail storefront joints stop @ size 13, if these aren't "new" production but leftover rather, where might they be leftover from? I guess NIKE/JB PRODUCES more than their customers( online retailers) order, so here we have the leftover for restock?
When we were ordering for our various retailers direct to Nike (since we were authorized distributors then like EB etc...), we present the upcoming models to our buyers in our showroom where you basically have all the models lined up like in a retail store.  So case in fact, if say I have ten retailers and they order the Jordan 11 bred from sizes 7-15 where the bulk of the size run is from 7-13 at 200 pairs each sizes and just a couple of 14-18 (arounf 50 pairs per size), this will def leave a big bulk of stocks overun for big sizes and not may retailers will want to buy broken sizes and or only big sizes which is why they then offer us the left over size runs at a much heavily discounted prices which we will in turn try to sell to our retailers again  to clean their DC and make way for new season stocks. Remember that we are ordering a season ahead of the current season so if like what you have at retails at the moment are SU14 or Summer 2014 editions, what we are now ordering from supplier are  not too soon after that are FA14 or Fall 2014. It's all business sense i guess to the supplier.

That makes perfect sense. That clears up everything for me. So in theory , If I were a customer of yours wanting to buy stock for my store, it'd almost make sense to only take the 7-13 size run on the first go around at the wholesale price you/Nike sells to it's retailers and then leave the 14-18 for the later date knowing you're going to try to resale those to me again(as a customer) , but as a customer I know I can buy those broken size runs in the future for a heavily discounted rate to clear NIKES/your DC and me as a retailer can then in turn try to flip those at the full MSRP AS A restock. Like you said, business sense right. Thanks again for the info boss. Repped for sure.

Out of curiosity: for those that are 15+ mens shoe size, how tall are you?
6"6
When FA23 opened they had Gucci 1s and other 2012 releases in 15+
FNL did this last year when they restocked Concords and a bunch of stuff in sz 15 and up. Hopefully the come off is as good as last year. #teambigfoot #teamretail

I hope all you big guys get your pairs.

Let these guys have a chance,

I see a lot of dudes on fb groups asking for size 9-10.5 and they actually wear the shoes 3 sizes too big just to have the newest thing out.:smh:

Yea my little cousins (highschool cats) are 9-10 sz. Anytime they come to my house for family events, they are in my closets, in my shoes, leaving with something. They put 2 extra soles in them and double up those thick socks nike sells with the padding stuff in them. I remember doing the same in HS to my older brother so I don't trip

thats ridiculous. 10.5, and 10.5 only for me.

Awesome stuff. Wish I could get rid of these damned 5Labs tho and then get in on this restock!

I can't believe people are going wild for size 15+ shoes at retail. I remember seeing these regularly at nordstrom rack and nike clearance stores. Big footers would get them super cheap. I remember my buddy got 4 space jams for $50 each a couple months after release. Times have really changed.

For real, those sz 15+ how tall are y'all??

I'm 6'8.

And for those that don't know Eastbay has been carrying size 15-18 on most jordans for a while now. I have to order all of my shoes.

Niketowns usually have one size 15 on RD. Most the time I get in good with the managers becasue they know I'm not there to resell.

When the space jams first released or the retro that happened recently?
