Wrestling Thread April 14-May 4 | 5/3 WWE Extreme Rules PPV Prediction Contest Now Open!

I grew up with mainly WWF in my household.. with some WCW during the wars - so pardon my ignorance.

I gotta go with HBK, The Rock, and Jericho as my favorites.

HBK had the whole package as a wrestler.

The Rock is probably my favorite on the mic, ever. Just a natural talker with charisma.

Jericho (mostly the latter of his career) - really had the same thing HBK had going on for him in terms of in ring and mic skills.

So, yeah.

Ok, I am about to say something. Might rustle some feathers.

Owen Hart shouldn't be listed on any all time list. He didn't do it long enough. Putting Owen on a list would be like putting Grant Hill or Penny on an all time basketball list. Yes, if they lived their lives out, they would have been all time greats. But their life on the big stage was so short that you can't possibly name them with all time greats.

While true, I still put him over Bret just cause I was never much of a fan of his. Honestly I preferred both Owen and Bulldog over him.

I loved Bret's in ring abilities, as a kid I thought he could do no wrong but watching his mic work as I got older.. you could tell he was never comfortable speaking as much as a lot of the other wrestlers were.

That's what i was saying a few months back. Bret wasn't that good on the mic, he just didn't seem comfortable. He even admitted it himself.

That's why I put Owen over him. Dude could wrestle just as good as him and could talk better. He was a more complete wrestler IMO

They picked the wrong week to reform Evolution...

When "Line In The Sand" hit, imagine had that been a New York or post WM crowd...

Case could be made for Taker for all around. I've never seen someone evolve their character as much as Taker did. And every single one of them was piff.

I've also never see someone of that size move with that quickness and agility.

For those exact reasons I put him on my top 10 all around list..

Man I could talk wrestling history all day long..That's why my favorite part of the Network is Legends of Wrestling..Getting to hear all those stories on how the business used to be and how it's evolved is just too much fun for me..

How about we do a list of the most under-rated/under recognized wrestlers?

How about we do a list of the most under-rated/under recognized wrestlers?

Al Snow: Dude had a video game type moveset. He has done so much for the business

Barry Windham: Talk about a big man that could move

Scott Steiner: Forget the Big Poppa Pump years. Young Scott Steiner was a damn beast. So athletic. So strong. Power Moves. High Impact moves. Loved this dude's style back then.

El Samurai: Dude has been going since the early 90s man. Great matches with Liger, Ultimo, Sasuke, Konemoto, Ohtani. Dude has seen it all

Gran Hamada: Kinda responsible for that Japanese Lucha Style that was popular in the 90s. (Michinoku, Toryumon, UWF)

D-ick Togo: Not sure how many of you followed, but this dude's last few years of active duty was amazing. He dropped weight and was up there as one of the top performers in the world.

I agree with your list except for Harley Race..Dude gets an extreme amount of respect and it's well deserved..

I guess this would be the perfect time for me to mention that I believe Dolph Ziggler is overrated.

I'm not making any lists but he's somewhere in the top 5 for that category.

Doesn't mean I don't like him or think he sucks because neither would be true. But yeah...overrated by many.

No trolling. I've felt that way for a while.
