24 Applicants Were Terrified To Do This Job Vol: Toughest Job In The World

You can talk about how much work it is to be a mom/parent, but stop using the word JOB.

Don't need a video, hallmark holiday, or anything else to remind me that I should treat my mother/family right.

I do it every day. My family and loved ones are my everything.

If raising a child is considered a job than you've already failed. You shouldn't be doing it with hopes for something in return.

This. I get called selfish for not having/wanting them and a lot of people I know have them for what I feel are selfish reasons.

Seriously though...

I mean... Seriously....

...

How HARD is it REALLY being a mother...

Especially if there's dad there...

I mean... Aside from giving birth..

??

I my opinion it is hard work, especially if you want to be a great one. Same deal with fathers too.

But it is not the hardest job in the world, not even close.

This description of single mom is only turrible for the first 5 years ish depending how ur kid/s learn to be somewhat independent. . I'm pretty sure babies are thr main j n reason u barely get sleep

Corny as hell.

When you decide to have a baby you better be ready to take on the responsibility of being a parent. Nothing glorious about doing your damn job for your kids and providing the best education/care etc that you can give them.

I love my parents to death, but guaranteed when I decide to have a child I ain't expecting some type of reward for being the best father I can be.

A few of my friends posted it on their facebooks and people commented how amazing and great the video was. SMH.

One of those corny viral videos that get posted on facebook. Thanks for letting me know what the punchline is so I dont have to watch

Not really. I think what the average parent wants in return is to see their child succeed and be an upstanding citizen. (At least that's what I would want in return, to be able to say "I did that")

That doesn't make it employment though. This is stupid btw.

Nobody is heartless because we don't believe being a parent is a form of employment, never mind the hardest job in the world.

They have these exaggerated requirements like you have to travel everywhere and no sleep is guaranteed. Just stop. Moms don't sleep now? and kids got they moms catching flights to Dubai then back to the states then to England? C'mon bro. Lived w/ my dad only since 5 because my mom was moving around for work. My dad did a great job and never once acted like it was employment. He loves me more than anyone and I would call him first no matter what situation I was in. My mom I wonderful too.

Being a parent is hard. Definitely is. Time consuming and can be stressful...but it is not employment. If you don't love children or get happy at the idea of raising and caring for one then you shouldn't have kids.

Now get this bullspit outta here

Just being a parent alone is difficult, no matter the gender.

(that OG video is stupid, btw)

Pretty sure foster parents get paid.

Also, the more kids you have typically the more welfare benefits you get.

Video was terrible. Concept was horrible. I'm ashamed this happened in my city.

Don't have kids if you can't handle the responsibility.

The dumbest thing I've ever read on NT
I dunno, man.  Between the assertion that "if you can pop wood you're not a child anymore" and the whole "Tupac was more important than MLK," Fontaine has some stiff competition.

There's a level at which something is so dumb it becomes immeasurable. Those are all within that realm of stupidity
