Hey guys,

A couple friends and I made a video for fun about the differences between old sneakerheads and new sneakerheads. I've been on NT since early 2000's when I was like 11 lol so I've seen a lot of the culture change. Anyways, check it out!

damn bruh had the extra sock to puff the shoes.

havent done that since middle school.

For the most part it's always been about what the shoe looks like rather than history for me.

Very funny. I laughed out loud at work. That's about right from being in high school from 98-02 and seeing the sneaker game now...

I chuckled at some of those...

When he picked up the III's and talked about the history, I thought that the new sneakerhead would talk about the resell price lol

Calling yourself a sneakerhead is just bad. The fact that you can't just be a person who likes Shoes is a big issue.

If one thing I LOVE about sneakers now is people are alot more open to rereleases. I remember when I started people hated to see a rerelease because their precious thing would lose value. Now every release is love but the resellers have hurt it.

This was me except everything i had was re releasing

Cool grey 11s
Bred 12s
Oly 180s
I had the euro tb3s. Then they release state side in 2011
Cardinals
Columbias

I sold everything except the cgs and the tbs. I just liked having things that most people didnt have. I kinda get turned off when everyone has something. Feels like im just one in the crowd

It wasnt that hard. I saw people *****ing about releases of 3s and 4s. Then down anything over 14 cause it wasnt worn but Bull's MJ. Sneaker Culture was VERY NEGATIVE to those who were new because it was BUY Heat and spend $400 on some Old royal 1s from 2001. If you wanted to wear what others arent then its easy. I bought my shoe then left then in the box for 6 months wearing what my other pairs then I wore the shoes cause everyone jacked up their pair by then

Now its just negative for the fact you are seen as some idiot who sleeps infront of the store for a week to get a shoe or moving shoes around all damn day but never wear any.

True. So true

But that is what made it memorable. To me anyways

Being into shoes so much in high school (never having a job while i was there) and hustling to get money to get a pair you want

Made me be even more appreciative of it. I didnt pay much for kicks. My boy had a lot of heat but would sell/trade to me for cheap

I used to hate everything above 16 but i love them all now.

It was easy for SBs since i would only cop the Silver and pink box series

Yeah, I would say the video wasn't hilariously video but just pretty true. But thanks for the feedback ya'll.

You been a member since 09... u should have expected this much negativity form people

Haha nah this was actually better feedback than I was expecting. I've been a member on NT since 2000 (lilskypilot) so I know how rough it can get haha. NT always keeps it real though.
