Matt Stafford received a 27 million signing bonus last year which is why he's so high.

Aaron Rodgers doesn't make 40 million a year either.

Every NFL quarterback on that list received a signing bonus last year.

Matt Stafford will make 2 million in base salary in 2014.

Man I wish more people understood how NFL contracts actually worked

I'm pretty sure this does not include endorsement. Because if it did, I don't think Mayweather would be #1.
