Anyone out there working on a business plan or completed one? How did you/are you doing it? How long did it take? How do you feel about your plan now? If you have an idea, what's keeping you from starting on it?

Share any & all thoughts

What's a thread without a pic? No pics of my plan so I'll sub this fine female instead

I've helped write and revise business plans for a couple of local businesses when I was in my MBA program. I wish Business Plan Pro was available on Mac and not PC only. $100 well spent for it.

I work in a scientific field that correlates to my BS and first master's. The pay is good, but I have no doubts that sooner or later I will start my own firm. If nothing else, just to fulfill my self satisfaction. The logo is hatched and trademarked. I just don't have the time to do more legwork at the moment.

A business plan doesn't necessary guarantee anything though. Luck plays a big factor too. I know a couple of folks who can't even spell properly who now own multi million dollar businesses from hard work and luck.

Conversely, I know folks who did their homework and studied the environment and still failed. 80 percent of new businesses fail within 5 years. Scary stat.

I'm working on a start up investment firm that will eventually morph into a PE firm.

Going about it a bit different than most. As far as our business plan, my partner and I have been working and revising it for a few months.

luckily with our idea, we'll be able to keep our jobs while we start to gain a track record.

Gotta get up and go get it bruh..

one thing i tell my main yamb...

"you're ******* with a winner, sweetheart... I'm going to the top"
