FX' Fargo Sunday 10PM ET : Season 4 Episode 8 "The Nadir" Starring Chris Rock 11/08/20

Man, my dude Todd :smh:

As each week passes, I find Lou's wife more and more attractive.. she's cute as hell.

Apologize if this is an obvious answer but why send in the kid to the shop to do the butcher? I know the kid wants to be initiated and they are letting him, but wouldn't you start him on a lesser job? The fam thinks the butcher did in their brother and the family is shook and mom wants blood....so you are sending in the rookie to finish?

cuz if they did properly thered be no second half of the season

Told you guys fat todd would give people that work. He just seems like the guy who survives somehow even with professional killers going after him. The kid was lucky the girl told fat todd to drag him out. I would've stomped on his neck for trying to shoot me.

It was sort of an iniation and the uncle seemed kinda happy his nephew was so into wanting to do the job. Plus one of their hitters was with him overseeing it anyway. Jeffrey Donovan is my dude but his character gives no damns about his fam. He just wants to be in charge.

every time I see Ben Schmidt, all I think of is how he was the bad guy in Paul Blart: Mall Cop and the creepy brother in Wedding Crashers

One episode 1 of season 2..

These dudes linked the seasons.. Assumed it would be like American horror story where everything was separate and they could reuse actors

But man.. When that molly line dropped, had me like :wow:

Had to look up the dad's name from season 1

I didn't remember names or events they referenced in season 1 amd thought it would be disconnected like ahs as well.

I literally just finished the last couple of episodes of season 1.. And obviously remembered the porch scene from the last episode

So when I heard the name Molly, I went to imdb to check the characters names

Yeah, I totally missed the porch-scene...

The good thing about watching them back to back is picking up on all the little references.

Damn now even Kirsten's character is dropping bodies.

Traitorous daughter/niece about to get herself along with her fam killed the way they shot up the place.

 @ the brothers. That son was gonna beat him is ridiculous.

It's funny this ep, I was wondering why this guy was cast on the show and if it was just to see him cry during the Reagan ep. He proved really useful as a lawyer to save those cops. Talked down the father real well.

I'm interested to see how this native American guy dies. Son just been sneaking around all too well and killing ppl with ease.

Wonder when Lou will be up all night guarding his porch? Almost seems like he'll sit out the massacre.

The ep was great.

I wanna know when the family will find out about ya boy's daughter.. And then what happened with ya boy and Peggy

Was real surprised chief didn't go back in the house.. But guess he went straight to the radio

Honestly, the previews for this season had me not excited at all but this show has been so consistent on all levels this year. Really is the best thing on TV (I'm really enjoy this season of the Leftovers as well), look forward to it every week. The tense scenes, acting, and plot really have me hooked. Only three more episodes left, wish there was at least 12 - but more and more shows are just calling for 10. Seems about right though for a show that tells a different story every season.

For as much of a boss Dodd wants to be, he really sucks at getting **** done.

His daughter selling out the fam though :smh:

What a crazy episode!  Kirsten taking out all those guys...

So much build-up on a potential massacre, but none of it actually materialized.  Was expecting a shootout at the police station, didn't happen.  Was expecting them to take down Ted Danson and tear the house up, didn't happen.  Had me on the edge a bit!

They didn't show it, but we don't really know what happened to Dodd and his goons at the house.  Dodd shot that one guy, the 2nd guy got knocked out with a sink, while Dodd was tased.  After Ted Danson woke up, he crawled to his squad car, but after that?  Cuffed Dodd's guys maybe?

Hanzee, man... that guy is good.

And I just realized this...

Danson probably cuffed the one dude Kirsten didn't kill  and that's if the guy who got hit with the sink survived.

I'm betting she dragged Dodd off somewhere to torture him
