FX' Fargo Sunday 10PM ET : Season 4 Episode 8 "The Nadir" Starring Chris Rock 11/08/20

great ep. the opening sequence seemed like a movie.

just when molly thinks she's thiiiiiis close, she ends up thinking she has to start from scratch. excellent directing and writing so far this series.
.. feel like lester hookin up with hess's old lady may back fire and connect him back to the hess case w/ possible evidence that lester was having an affair with his wife which is one of the reasons he sends malvo to murder IMO

Lester...

And creative gunfire scene...

Last night I jut realized that Chaz's wife is Cher from Clueless.

I was about to say like that aint alicia silverstone but then I remembered there was also a TV show  Good memory!

Yeah that scene with BBT taking out 3 floors was done perfectly because showing it completely would not match the true identity the show is going for. Something like 24 would show Jack taking out baddies on 3 floors even with the occasional POV shot.

just started watching the series today...

can't accept the fact that Margie is now a man.. I need a few episodes to digest that

already loving BBT's acting...  dude playing WHM's role seems pretty legit too

The main protagonist is still a woman. It's hard to compare the movie and show side by side because they're completely different.

I assumed going in that since they were both based on true events that they had to follow some sort of pattern...

but nothing's been the same so far....

not even mad tho..... as long as the acting is good I can **** with it

Word. At first I was a little put off but it's a really great show. The acting is top notch and storyline is great. It keeps the theme of the movie and does a lot of throwbacks to the movie.

Loving this show :pimp: great acting and storyline. I don't know who's more evil, Lester or Malvo at this point

One a side note, went to Minneapolis the other day and saw this random poster

What a start. This dude Martin Freeman is an elite actor.

Just realized hes the main character in the hobbit films and costars on Sherlock.

Damb.

That last episode was dope. Love the way the scene with malvo shooting em up was shot. Total perfection

Yeah, I only recognize him from that role, so it was weird seeing him as Lester... soooo different from Watson.  Says a lot about him as an actor.

Neither was based on true events. I thought so also, but they are not.

I haven't seen this latest episode but I'm hype. Malvo takes out three floors? I'm only in the second season of breaking bad, but Malvo may be the best villain in TV history. Man, there has been some dope tv over the years.

Is it safe to say that Lester was always this devious, but he just needed to have his back against the wall to bring it out? Or is it simply pay back for all the people who tormented him? At first I was thinking he was being grimey for setting up his brother, but I remember his bro telling him he was ashamed of him growing up.

The only thing that is suspect is he doesn't seem to have any remorse for the Chief who died, out of everything that happened, that would be the one thing that I would feel guilty about.

Teah, in a sense he's a Walter White type but his Heisenberg is much more remorseless. It was always in him just needed the right thing to trigger it. He was really trying to hold out even after he killed his wife which was really a spur of the moment reaction thing which he did not plan but had to lie about. All the pressure, all they lying, getting pushed around by others was too much and then when his brother who seems always disrespected him ditched him to he finally snapped and completed the heel turn.

I'm sure deep down he always wanted payback but it was never in him to act on it. This is more of a life experiences thing making you who you are. So it's possible since life was so unforgiving to him (in his eyes) he may act that way to everybody else so that would kinda explain why he has no remorse for the Chief but who knows he could've felt slighted by him in some way too. Doesn't matter as much though, this is how the new Lester is.

Just caught the episode. My man Lester turning into a monster. Malvo is to gangster. this detective girl is to damn smart, she gotta go.

^ Nah he would have. Well... He would have tried. Or punked out at the last second... Probably that.

Glad to see others are enjoying this show as much as I am.

Lester always had it in him. After he hit his wife in a fit of rage, he realized what he did and kept hitting her.

@Lester and Sam's wife. You're hurting me as he sees his pic
