Just rewatched that clip and listened to the dialogue again... yeah, sounds like he was referring to Hanzee... animal... and animals only kill for food...

I was just joking about my aliens comment in regards to what Lou talks to Malvo about. Then again I wouldn't be surprised if the aliens kill everybody in the final ep at this point 
Keep in mind though that Lou hasn't seen Hanzee do a lot of work first hand. He's mainly just see the aftermath. So it's still not a 100% clear who he is referring to but best bet is Hanzee for now. Son just killing everybody.
If this show wasn't so awesome I could see myself being extremely pissed off at the alien spaceship showing up at moments like this that conveniently save or get ppl killed.
