Umm, is there only one auto body shop in that area? honzee found the car with the quickness. Dude found evidence, the car, and a name.

I wouldn't be surprised dude, this is Fargo in the 70s. Small town very low key I'm sure they only have one of everything there. Fastforward or rewind to S1 of Fargo. Not much changed from the 70s to 2000s.

I was kind of annoyed at Hanzee's ability to track down Todd and his wife within 24 hours. Too bad he is a criminal, they could use a guy like him on the police force or fraud dept.

Lou's wife is cute. I hope she has the medication and not the placebo / sugar pills. If a doctor said that ish to me, i'd be tempted to beat the hell out of that doctor and destroy the pharmaceutical company's office.

For some reason I think fat todd will be able to handle hanzee or at least manage not to get killed by him.

Ron Swanson's character is interesting. He seems like the type that'll be like the hero in a western and blast fools with his gun.

She has the placebo bro, she dies from the cancer. At least I think they said that in S1, either way no happy endings for her. As for Todd being able to handle Hanzee? C'mon son, no way in the world is Todd ready for what the Hanzee and the Gerhardts have in store for him. Look at what they did to the guy who was in business with Rye, and he didn't even do anything .

Regardless she's gonna die cuz she wasn't alive in S1. S2 doesn't have to end with her having to die at some point.
It might though.

Completely forgot about that scene. Nice memory bro.....................................unless you are watching Season 1 on Hulu too?

nah

I remembered the scene so I googled it and there was an article about it

Her character was mentioned in season 1? Didn't know these 2 seasons have some kind of connection. I barely remember season 1.
This is the Sioux Falls massacre season.

EDIT

I won't say more cuz everybody else dropped the info

This show is sooooo dope

After season 1 (which was amazing)..a lot of big actors were trying to get on this show

This show really plays like a good movie..I don't ever really remember getting bored watching it ..it's dark/twisted, yet funny as hell

Just started watching this show. On episode 8 season 1. One of the few shows that actually does the movie justice

I actually started the movie before I started season 1 but never finished the movie. I need to get on that.

Yeah it just has this charm to it. This season doesn't even have a big stand outs star (like Billy Bob) in it but the writing and the acting remain so strong.

I actually started the movie before I started season 1 but never finished the movie. I need to get on that.
I'd recommend all of the Coen Bros. movies.

Fargo the movie is more like Fargo S1 minus a Malvo type character since you watched the show before the movie.

Wow another great ep :pimp:

They're balancing the action/violence with the drama real well. Sad to see the homey Brad Garrett go :smh: At least they didn't show his decapitation. I also liked how dude purposely left one twin alive the same way they left the father alive.

I feel sorry for Todd in this more. I see now his character is more like Walter White before the meth empire, broken with so many failed dreams. I almost thought the crippled Gehardt kid killed him the first go around. You can see him talking trying to hold on to that last dream of staying and owning the shop but he don't even know it's already slipped away. Then we see that same Todd from BB spark in him where he just acts and kills dude with the knife. That boy got a cold blooded killer in him for real.

The whole lie about Todd killing the other Gehardt makes him out to be a real assassin  Now he's taken out another guy that came after him and wounded another one of their own.

The crippled Gehardt being so shook that he was ready to go back to school was a good scene and I just figured he be dead so that scene in the kitchen had me thinking he was done for.

Kirsten's character was really about to dip on him too  Then conscience hit her hard and she does the right thing at the wrong time.

The way they wove things in and out with Reagan was real cool too. Brought a really dope cinematic effect to the killings.

 @ Reagan's no answer about how to solve things to Lou. Did Reagan have like early Alzheimer's or something? Cuz to play him like he was always that forgetful even when young was funny.

Great episode. Absolutely loving this season. I think it's a lot better than season 1, which I liked very much as well.

.

I didn't expect him to go back. I expected him to realize that life wasn't for him.

- But aren't all politicians like that?  They offer a lot of reassurances, but when you get down to it, they never give a practical answer.  A lot of "we're gonna work really hard in making things better" and all that mumbojumbo.   And an interesting Alzheimer foreshadowing with the can't-remember bit.

- Lol @ Hanzee running along with Dodd’s “Butcher of Luverne" BS...

- Can Noreen be anymore depressing?!

i think this is the ep where the wheels finally fell off

hanzee not killing both kitchen bros

this season is really holding its' own. soundtrack is great too. the somewhat obscure devo song from last week. ending of the ep this week with billy thorpe. just fantastic.

Yeah they are and I'm not saying it's anything specific to Reagan, I just found it funny but when faced with a direct question most politicians can bull **** they're way out with more rhetoric. When asked how they'd say something like we just have to believe in ourselves and be united, take it one day at a time or some other such line of nonsense that is vague on specifics.

As for Reagan though, he was just forgetting a lot. Like at first I just thought he forgot something that wasn't important about how the movie ended and which movie it was in the bathroom but all of that stuff adds up to make him seem really forgetful like he's already senile

- Lol @ Hanzee running along with Dodd’s “Butcher of Luverne" BS...
They might not even know but they may have just created a legend. Todd aint no joke. Shop is burning down, he's getting shot at, son gets the opportunity and puts that butcher's knife through that dude's skull :smh:

I assume he's gonna have another attempt on his life and come out on top

I did too. I'm guessing dude with the scarred up face forced him to go back or gave him a 2nd chance to prove himself.
