FX' Fargo Sunday 10PM ET : Season 4 Episode 8 "The Nadir" Starring Chris Rock 11/08/20

The commercial breaks for the finale are insane. We get a brief scene and a long commercial break.

It was good... I enjoyed it. Felt the biscuit scene was a bit dragged out, but we got a solid ending overall.

Didn't expect the fight to happen so quickly!

Obvs satisfying to see Roy's ultimate fate, but it was also interesting to see how Lorraine and Dot dealt with debt & payback.
Lorraine using it to make sure Roy will suffer for the rest of his life, while Dot encouraging love & forgiveness.

Hilarious how Munch kept having his profound comments interrupted by family chatter. 😂
This bit had me... 😂😂
Munch cheers.gif

For Witt Farr... 😢

Overall I loved the season, and I think it was a good ending, although the pacing was kind of a letdown after a super tense 9 episodes.

And damn Witt, SHOOT HIM!!! He's not dropping that knife for a reason! That death was totally unnecessary and an unsatisfactory ending to his story. The graveyard scene was lame too.

I hated that he died, but Dot's reaction to the FBI lady telling her he was gone was the one time we actually saw Dot truly get emotional the whole series. It wrecked me, tbh.

Enjoyed the season. Definitely drew out the biscuits scene, but it was good nonetheless.

Didn’t realize this was the final season. I just started watching.

Wait, there won't be a season 6?
But if they did green lit it, it could be a while. Hawley's working on Alien.

I think the fate of Emmit Stussy at the end of Season 3 created context/expectation that added to the tension of the final scene of Season 5.

My favorite is 3.

Between that cute *** we saw from Elizabeth Winstead or the scene where her and Mr Wrench met up from the bus crash

Unless they totally bomb with the ending (they won't) I think this is going to dethrone S2 as my favorite

Juno Temple has been incredible
Man, Juno Temple was so impressive in FARGO that I'm now watching all of her films.
Yesterday I watched one with Kathryn Hahn, Juno was a stripper that gave Hahn's character a dance and creates this sort of infatuation.
Really interesting story.
2013 so Juno was a baby, played a 19yo Stripper who was really 21.
Kathryn Hahn kills everything she is in.
She is so sexy to me, love her.(Hahn)

With you on Kathryn Hahn. Had a crush on her forevvvver.

Didn't like how they did things with Whit, much less making his name Whitley. With the six sisters it seemed like he was a mistake. He didn't owe Dot anything, he wouldn't have been in the situation if it wasn't for her. She owed him.

Overall happy how things ended.

I liked the turn on Roy by Lorraine.

She saved his life in the gas station though

He and his partner stopping the car helped Dot escape, but they were doing their job

After the gas station shootout, he could have let things go, but he chose not to

I don't see how Dot gets the blame

She's the one who put him danger. Monk and his partner were after her. He would have never been shot. Them pulling over the car allowed her to escape.

He and Dot get to the gas station at the same time.

He got shot because Dot ran into the gas station right away, and he hung out outside of it, and kept looking back at where he ran from

And Monk shot him from long-range

He would be dead if it wasn't for Dot.

Them pulling over the car allowed her to escape.

Yeah ok, so?

Like if you are blaming Dot for Witt, was there a different action she could have taken that you would not blame her for Whit?

The abduction wasn't her fault. Not like she has to go back to Tillman peacefully to be raped and beaten some more.

I liked Witt but he made his decision not to let **** go. Even at the final standoff, he could have hung back. Hell Dot is the one that wanted to go after Tillman, and Witt told her no, he'll get him.

The person who deserves the blame for Witt is the person who sent the kidnapper after Dot, kept chasing her even after she escaped, didn't hand her over when the cops came, and you know, stuck the knife into Witt.

Roy Tillman

Enjoyed the ending a lot. The season as a whole was amazing, and the ending tied it all up. Thought it reflected life pretty well in that people don't always get what they deserve, no matter what you may deserve. Roy in prison but alive, Farr killed tragically because he was too 'good' of a person, Munch receiving kindness he didn't think he deserved, Dot getting her family because she earned them back. Solid, solid season of TV.
