I know it's not some prestigious school but after getting rejected during my HS years for slacking and not taking things seriously,

I decided to work my *** off at Towson and decided to try one more time.

Congrats bro.

Transferred in CP too. It is a great school. Take advantage of your resources though.

And funny thing is, when you go to other states, UMD is a very well known school, and has a lot of prestige.

I actually moved from the west coast to go to UMD for grad school, so trust that the school does have some prestige outside of MD.

^^^ This, every time I've applied for a jobs outside of MD, or my friends apply to one that list "degree from a top tier university" as a requirement, and I ask if UMD qualifies. The answer is always yes.
 
I got into UMD and wish I went, a lot of my good friends did, in fact a set of them are getting married in two weeks. Campus is crazy nice
 
congrats...

i should have went in state to UMD for undergrad...but noooo i got caught up with GW...

when you go out in the District on a Fri or Sat night, and you will, that Metro ride back to campus will feel like the longest in the world...its funny seeing all the drunk people coming back at like 2-2:30a on the Green line

Nice OP, just started PT grad school this spring, not sure about all of the schools but the engineering is top 20 (a james clark) and I noticed the b-school has some decent connections w consulting in and around DC.
