Seeing that the management is passing up Lance and IT2 at reasonable deals to sign Swaggy P and Hill (his contract isn't really that bad, I just hope he would continue to produce in a more increased and consistent role), I think that's their plan too.

Randle reminds me of a more athletic David Lee or a shorter, more aggressive Lamar Odom without the ball dribbling skills.

Could have gotten IT2 and Lance Vance for 16 mil combined. Instead gets Nick Young/Jordan Hill for $14 mil. Y'all better pray the 30% chance of us getting a top 5 pick is worth it. And that subsequent player is worth it cause we could have had 2 assets that have already proven they can play at a high level in this league and are both under 25 yrs old.

Calipari made Randle look like a Z-Bo player at UK, dump the ball into him at the low post type of player.

Two games into summer league, Randle is playing like Griffin without the elite explosion using his face up game to beat his defender off the dribble on his way to the hoop.

Thats my thing about not going hard after Lance...dude has proven that he can produce at a high level in the league, and still has upside if coached / managed properly.

i remember one of the summer league commentators said he looks very anthony mason-ish when he puts the ball down to drive...i guess i kind of see that.

Randle facing up a big 15+ feet away from the rim is a scary sight for the other team. Dude has such a quick 1st step and can dribble past big men with ease.
