I went with Vonleh.

You see 4.0?

Passing on Vonleh let's him drop to Detroit, which may let then not match for Monroe.

Pray no one helps Phoenix, maybe luck into Bledsoe. (Or Lowry as plan B)

Then, Lance.

After drafting either Gordon or Randle. (Based on 4.0)

Young core insta-assembled. Tradeable assets as well compared to our last couple years.

Bledsoe (or Lowry), Lance, whoever we draft + Kobe means no Love.

And Monroe.

Monroe, Lance, Bledsoe.

Instead of Kevin Love.

*shrugs*

Goal stays same post Kobe, Kevin Durant.

Monroe
Randle
Durant
Lance
Bledsoe or Lowry

Can consider it backup over chasing Love.

Durant is less likely to come to that team than a team with Love. Superstar Pull is almost always bigger than Better Team.

Randle (or Gordon) could be the next "Blake" level 21 year old PF by 2016. Love would be 28.

That's not going to be his thought process at all. We both know that.

Yea I'm not down with trying to get more than one of Bledsoe/Lance/Monroe in this offseason. You just lose too much flexibility for 2015.

Again, the plan is in thinking the Celts make their play at Love. (Them taking Gordon, letting Randle fall to us)

LMA could be in play, but my guys have as good a chance at luring KD as LMA would.

We can't be basing our plans on what the Celtics might do tho and kill any flexibility to get whoever in 2015 whether or be Love, LMA, or Marc.

I disagree that having no star would be more attractive than having one already in tow, especially in theory he'd be leaving Westbrook.

LMA = star?

Naw. I rather have 3 solid young stars + our rook.

LMA is an enhancer, not a target.

Guess we have different definitions of stars. LMA has at least been able to play at an all star level, Monroe nor Bledsoe have shown that so far. They are solid starters not stars. And crazy Lance is a whole other can of worms after you take him out of Indy to deal with.

soooo thibs clearly better than dantoni

They are all 24 and can improve still along with the 19 year old we draft.

LMA is what he is, which was missing the playoffs til Lilard arrived.

I actually think the Wolves may end up holding onto Love, and just seeing where it goes. I don't see them trading a second franchise player to Boston. Maybe Phoenix, but I get the impression they will use the extra $26 mil they can offer and roll the dice.

Celtics taking Gordon means absolutely nothing in relation to Love.

Also, any team trading for Love will need to know if he will stay. He can always pull a Dwight.

Love already know where he wants to play. All he has to do is pull 14 months of "No I will not re-sign with X" opt out in June 2015, and sign as a Laker in July 2015.

Who are all the people voting for Marcus Smart all of a sudden?

Mildly surprised by that.
