SSLP > any Em album

Eminem Show was THE album ya'll. I forgot the numbers it did, but everyone was rocking that jawn. I had that **** on repeat for a couple months at least, and by that I mean absolutely no other music in my cd player.

Eminem Show is the Eminem Album. It's the only album by him that I feel like I am actually listening to a brilliant artist, not a brilliant character.

MMLP took Em to a whole new level lyrically, as a songwriter.

Yo, you might see me joggin, you might see me walkin

You might see me walkin a dead rottweiler dog

with it's head chopped off in the park with a spiked collar

hollerin at him cause the son of a ***** won't quit barkin

(grrrr, ARF ARF) Or leanin out a window, with a cocked shotgun

Drivin up the block in the car that they shot 'Pac in

Lookin for Big's killers, dressed in ridiculous

blue and red like I don't see what the big deal is

Double barrel twelve gauge bigger than Chris Wallace

Pissed off, cause Biggie and 'Pac just missed all this

Watchin all these cheap imitations get rich off 'em

and get dollars that shoulda been there's like they switched wallets

:pimp:
Ugh. He's too nice.

This right here.  TES is his best work imo.

SSLP and MMLP are the only Eminem albums that I've heard in their entirety.

I steadily lost interest in him as he started to sing more and make his own beats.

His singing is grating to my ears and his beats are tepid at best. They all sound the same.

This is why SSLP is my favorite Eminem album.

Wow. This....all of this.

People hate on that album but em had some bangers on that. Underground and Stay Wide Awake were some dope tracks off that album.

Stay Wide Awake is one of the best rap songs I've ever heard. His ability to paint the picture and his flow on it is better than anything I've heard from these "new rappers" today

Still haven't listened to mmlp 2 yet. Curious to where would you guys rank the album amongst his discography?

It's not touching his first 3 albums and infinite but he deff put a lot of work into the album. There are a few tracks that I don't like but they grew on me as I listened to them again except for maybe 2-3 tracks and the bonus tracks are good too

With me being a die hard Eminem fan(He is my favorite rapper) going back to late 98, I've always thought Slim Shady was his best album. When I got this album on 2/23/99, I just simply knew how great he was! I was 11 in the half when I got this CD (My bday is 2/25/87) and the shock value was insane at the time. I think every song on that album was good. I had this album on repeat so much that my mom had to take the CD away from me because of the lyrical content. She thought he was a bad influence on me
My favorite tracks on there is, "Brain Damage" (Song had me in tears laughing when I first heard it LOL), "Role Model"(The things he said on that track was just:wow:), "My Name is"(Although, that was his leading single, song still bangs), "Just Don't give a F***", "Still Don't give a F***", and "I'm Shady". Overall, every song is good, but those are my favorite tracks. No Rapper at the time had the guts to say the things he said on that album, NO ONE! lol. To sum up everything, SSLP was his best Album, but MMLP 1 was not to far behind.

At the bottom with Recovery and the Bad Meets Evil EP or LP. Whatever it is. Wish I never heard either of those three albums. They make Encore sound like MMLP or SSLP

you think so? I think it was much better than recovery and the bad meets evil EP was okay but if I had to rank it. I know it ain't touching any of his first 3 albums and infinite and it's much better than recovery imo. I would rank it around relapse tbh sort of in between but it I enjoyed most of what I heard

all eminem's albums are top quality lyrically (encore would be at the bottom of the list) it just comes down to which em flows and production styles you like the most

His flows on MMLP 2, Recovery and Bad Meets Evil were so offbeat at times. Plus that angry and fast flow is just wack to me.

Em will always be in my top 5 off his first 3 albums alone. Plus I'm a big fan of Encore and Relapse.

i have it ranked 3rd behind MMLP & TES, but this album has so many gems :smh: :pimp:

if i had x rock bottom :wow: em is always at his best when he speaks on deep subjects
