I agree with you 100% mr matthews.. and there are levels to this.. kanye, gaga, katy perry and whoeever else "sold their soul" in the sense that they chose to go the route of helping to further bring down society into the dumpster for $$.. these people are just "entertainers" and the word "entertain" literally means to distract or lead astray... while dudes care about kim kardashian and a sex tape, or jay-z's next world tour, you got laws being put into effect to destroy you, your rights being stripped away, NDAA, fema camps being built around the country, WW3 around the corner.. these people get paid top dollar to push brands, ideas etc and distract the public from what really matters, keeping you on a carnal level instead of opening up that spiritual third eye and peep whats really going on and battling the force thats controlling this earth (job 9:24).. it even gets to the level where you have some people who start to DEFEND these idols (see jay-z 5%'er thread ) ah w/e .. if you gonna listen to the music, don't get too caught up in it.. if you're gonna watch the movies, don't watch it for fun and joy... in other words, don't get caught up in the hype .. peace
