I hate getting a new phone. Vol. Verizon

A couple months ago I went to get my passport renewed and there was a guy in front of me that didn't speak a single word of English. Took daaaaaaaaaaays. How are you able to apply for a passport if you don't know English?

Anyway, yes, VZW sucks. Great service but still. Moved on from the last year. No contract >

Like. they said. They push hard for sales associate to sell those accessories. People Who Are Pushy Like That Are Annoying Though . I see my coworker do that , I'll be like chillllll.
I'll tell you get a case and a car charger and a screen protector cause that's mainly what you'll need/Want. or you can pick it yourself.
If I ask once you Say no. I ain't pushing it.

Why you knocking off my dudes hustle tho.. Smh FAM should have copped a case+screen protectors +Bluetooth +headphones. Help the homie out he probably got mouths to feed

Another way to would have been to upgrade online and eliminate the middle man

I'm saying though... OP already screwed up by taking his dad into the damn store in the first place.

I would have just ordered my dad a new phone and synced all the contacts over for him and saved up the time and hassle.

ESPECIALLY if my pops ain't speal any damn english.

 "Speal"

Ok I used to sell phones and stores pressure employees to sell those overpriced accessories HARD. They are almost as important then the phone. Why cant your dad speak english, did he just come to America?
My dad's a mechanic so he can speak English when it comes to cars.

But with upgradea and everything he just wants to be safe by bringing me since it deals with contracts and all that.

Esp since Verizon pushes these weird deals and everything.

The salesman being African had nothing to do with the story just to reiterate. You wouldn't have said the white salesman.

I'm glad he added that additional detail, gave more life to his story. I think he would've done the same if the gentlemen were white, but h wasn't. Really no way to say he would've or not , have you seen his post before when it involved other men/women? Did he include race ?

You're glad he added that to his story? What life did it add to the story?

You should have asked what happens when you take the black case off the white phone. Does it stay white? Or is it magically black.

I would have stone faced him if he said that to me. Like you really going to troll me like that?

More detail the better. You skated around my other comments tho, how do you know he wouldn't have added that detail if they were white still wondering how you know that? The irony in you making that assumption

Actually, I have before. Check my "when did you realize these females aint loyal" thread.

You are right it is an assumption but in my history here I have not seen someone say "i got into a fender bender with a white man" or "I went to best buy and the white sales rep frustrated me". Even if someone does say it, I would ask the same question: "What relevance does it serve?"

Brings more details to the story. Helps you visualize it better. You're overthinking it.
