I'll retire my user name if the US gets out of our group. That's not pessimism, that's just reality, hence why I'm watching the tourney for the pure joy of it and not as just a US fan.

Rooting for Germany, Brazil and Argentina to win in that order. Don't think the US is going passed knockout stages and that's already a dream. I definitely can't wait though, just been into International footy for a few years so I dont have many favorites outside of the US.

Really anxious to see how well Belgium gonna do.

Group D should be interesting.

Uruguay 

Costa Rica

England 

Italy

I got Uruguay and I think England will make it out over Italy.
 
Here is the beauty of the beautiful game gentleman... all of our predictions don't mean a thing.  The game is played on the pitch and anything can happen.

With that said, my prediction is Spain to win it all.  They've been in fantastic form since winning the 2008 Euro Cup.  I see their 4th straight major international title in hand in Brazil.  My dark horse teams would be Belgium and Brazil.  Don't sleep on the young/talented home team.

Brazil is going to take it all and USA has the hardest group cr7 and Ghana going to make it out if Germany doesn't tighten down. USA no chance in a million years.:smokin
 
old-time niketalker here. i'll be going to USA vs Germany, quarter-final in Rio, and semi-final in Belo Horizonte. still looking for a final ticket though (looking impossible at this point). pretty juiced! :D
