1. 28 days later universe
turning after 10 to 20 seconds within infection. zombies are fast and have superhuman strength due to adrenaline pumping through the body. only goal of zombies is to infect the uninfected (or kill). they can die of exhaustion and starvation since they are not traditional zombies. they are not eating people. headshots not required.
2. left 4 dead universe (no special infected)
this one is pretty much a death sentence unless you are immune.
they dont consume human flesh. they beat,scratch and punch you to death (if youre not infected already). they are fast, agile and can climb on obstacles to get to you. infections spread through air or bodily fluids. they only bite non-immune people.
attack in large groups. can die from exhaustion or starvation.
can be killed with bodyshots, no headshots required.
3. dawn of the dead, day of the dead, land of the dead
the traditional zombies. dumb and slow. they eat human flesh.
everyone who dies becomes a zombie (unless your brain got damaged). a bite will kill you within 3 days. they dont eat because they are hungry meaning they wont be satisfied, ever.
they are dumb at first but can learn to use firearms or blunt weapons (from observing survivors or simply trying). slow as **** but have unlimited endurance.wont die of starvation but the body will decay over time. headshots required to kill.
4. dawn of the dead (remake)
a mix between infected and traditional zombie.
infection through bodily fluids,bites, scratches (?). fast and strong due to adrenaline pumping through body. they eat the living. headshots required.
5. world war z
infection through bites, bodily fluids. dont seem to eat people. they ignore sick people. extremely fast,agile and strong. will try anything to infect you. attack in very large groups. infection spreads within seconds. they pile over eachother in massive groups and climb massive walls like that. headshots are required. bodyshots slow them down.
I'm going to have to go with WWZ. The virus spreads way too fast and require a headshot. I could only camp out for so long if I new the change was coming.
