Hey Niketalk Fam,

I need your help on this one, but I'm pretty sure I know the answer to it already but I just wanted your views on it if you've owned/own a pair.

So I picked up a pair of Fear IV's from eBay UK which cost me £250 equivalent to $419 dollars. The guy who sold it to me claimed that they were 100% authentic but I believe they are Unauthorized Authentics or Grey Markets.

Firstly from the packaging the box feels thicker and is slightly bigger compared to my other Retro IV boxes. Maybe because its a US 10? I noticed that on the front size sticker, the retail price has been ripped off. In the UK, the Jordan boxes such as the retro IV's dont show the retail price.

The plastic in the inside is also a see through charcoal grey and not black like the others.

With the shoes could you tell me what's off apart from the speckles and if they are just plain fake? They look big and and seem to have less speckles compared to all the other pics that I've seen. Also is the pull tab suppose to look glossy like that? With eBay's policy I have up to 7 days if I change my mind which I received on the 15th April. Question is should I return them as I don't wear fakes and I don't want to be pointed out.

I also found a video on youtube which seems pretty similar in terms with the tissure paper used.

Thanks in advance.

I would say these are HQ GMs.

I don't own fear 4s but I do own a few pairs of other 4s.

The size tag of the 10 is really close cut. I don't think they are suppose to be like that.

If you bought these from someone in the UK, they shouldn't come with a suggested retail tab.

The plastic "paper" is almost clear (RED FLAG).

Like you said before, the speckles look off.

The heel tabs look too shiny IMO.

In my opinion, GET A REFUND.

If you know already that these are not 100% authentic, get your money back and save up to buy from a place you know for sure has 100% authentics.

Hope this helps man.

Good luck!

Thanks for the input guys I had a strong feeling that they weren't 100% authentic as soon as I opened it up from the packaging and saw the box, then the shoe itself in person. I spoke to the seller and he agreed to give me a refund on them, but kept claiming they were authentic. I had to explain what unauthorized authentic and grey market was to him
