Loved streets disciple but I know a lot of people that hated it. I still bump the is theme on the regular. I occasionally even play u know my style.

1. Stillmatic
2. Illmatic
3. Life is good
4. Streets disciple
5. Distant relatives

If it matters I'm a post ether Nas fan

Not a lot of love for I Am...it's easily one of my favorite albums. So many nice cuts on there. I see a lot of love for God's Son. I was never a big fan of the production on it plus a few too many commercial songs on it.

I Am has just as many commercial cuts as God's Son.

no thread jack, but was Street's Disciple that bad?

It was solid but like most double albums, it just had too much filler. If Nas had just cut it down to one album, it would be so much better.

1) Illmatic- GOAT rap album
2) It Was Written - Depending on the day this would even be before illmatic solid hits and bangers :pimp:
3)Stillmatic - Solid straight through (except for smokin' hate that song) rewind :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:
4) Streets Disciple - Had its fair share of meh tracks but that comes with the territory when u make a double but also had a bunch of :pimp: tracks
5) God's Son- This album gets dumped on a lot but I mess with it outside of a few tracks (I dont hate zone out  )

... But on another note "book of rhymes" was flames. By far my favorite alchemist beat!

1. Stillmatic
2. God's Stepson
3.Untitled
4. Life is Good
5. Illmatic

Street's Disciple isn't bad at all. Only problem was a few of the beats on there were AWFUL. Some of them you just can't play they're so bad. Still love the album.

Yeah Street's Disciple had a lot of filler. But if you add up the good to excellent tracks, they outweigh the bad IMO. It wouldn't be a post-IWW Nas album without some awful production, right?

Would've been so much better as 1 disc, but then again I feel that way about every double album including AEOM and LAD.

Lost tapes is def number 2 behind illmatic 3)stillmatic after that whatever the hell his albums are so so

I remember "Nas Is Like" had me hyped for I Am only to be disappointed. :smh:

that whole album got messed up by napster & early bootleg copies

if i remember correctly - project window didn't even make it on the final version of I Am which was one of the lead in singles!
