If u worked for one company would u purchase from. The competition ? I mean if u work in a restaurant that's totally different ...

Example:
Honda as a salesman would u drive a ford , Hyundai etc... . .? Or would that be essentially saying u don't stand behind ur product or company's goals?

I've worked for places where with what they were paying, I couldn't even afford their ****. Like someone said, unless I got a stake in ownership, **** that.

When I worked at Walmart,  I went out of my way to not shop at Walmart. I felt like i was just giving them the money they paid me right back

at GM and Chrysler, if you dont drive their brand of vehicles they make you part in a different lot which is farther away

SRS

I know guys that work at Coca Cola and refuse to drink Pepsi products.

It's fun to choose a side playfully, but it's not that serious.

Unless they sponser me, i would never.

Unless i work in a ralph lauren, nike

 I know most dealership will let you finance and lease as if you have a1 credit as long as you work for them.

Naw as stated before unless I'm making ridiculous money, I'll take my paycheck elsewhere. Not to thread jack but this reminds me of when Lebron was in Cleveland wearing the Yankees fitted to an Indians game rooting for NY

When it comes down to it, it's all about business. They know that and you should know that.

Surely, you don't think all BMW salesmen drive Bimmers.

I used to love going into Best Buy to shop after my shift at Circuit City ended when I worked there in undergrad.

Dwade is now sponsored by that Chinese sneaker company but still wears other brands off the court.

are you serious lol?

most car salesmen for example dont drive the cars they sell in real life

Many of my coworkers crush me because I have a T-Mobile phone

I told them to get unlimited data and I'd happily make the switch.

a lot do actually. they get better deals and discounts plus financing.

again, this is mostly for the salesmen who are good and make A LOT of money at the dealership. Ive met a few big time chrysler salesmen and they got like 3-4 chrysler whips

one guy recently had a viper and a srt charger but hes the only guy i met with an assistant and had 3 telephones just for customers to text and call him. dude kills it :x

I work for one alcohol distributor and when I go out I try to make sure I'm only getting drinks from my distributor.

However my friend world for the competition and when we go out he makes sure to only order from his distributor.
I really don't mind cause it just means I'm drinking his Chivas 18 all night.

This question is tricky depending the different fields and different positions the person is working in. I work at a product development company and am directly involved in R&D. To be honest, I have no problem with giving my business to the competitor. BUT I probably won't be solely using a competitor's product over my own product, nor would I prefer the competitor's product over my own. That would just give off the impression that the product we make is inferior to that of the competitor.

Depends on the product and money being made. If the product is similar and the discount makes it the best deal then yes I would but if not the **** um unless I had a stake in the company.

When I worked at Target the only reason I even spent cash there was because of the 15%.

I have a cousin who used to work for Coke and they told him he couldn't eat at restaurants that didn't carry Coke products while on the clock.
