Local dimming so bot the best in a dark theatre room but yea other its hdr10 and great upscaling

Sony XBR43X800D - $650
Samsung UN43KU7000 - $650
Samsung UN43KU6300 - $500

Reviews say the 6300 is just as good as the 7000 picture quality and performance wise. The 7000 is not really worth the extra $$$. The Sony seems to edge out both based on reviews. Going to go check them out in person a couple weeks from now but leaning towards the Sony. Anyone own one?

I'm late but I own the Sony and it's a great TV. I downloaded some 4k HDR clips to test it and it blew me away.
I can only wonder what the OLED or ZD9's look like.

I pair it with my PS4 pro and games look great too. From the rtings reviews, it's definitely the best low to mid range TV out there especially at 43 inches.

I saw this yesterday before i saw that you posted it her and been thinking about it ever since.

This is the TV that seems like it will be best for me so i just grabbed the 55" 8000. Im pretty excited. No moving till the end of april but i might have to use it for the month ill have it before i move lol

Tv just came in. My dumb *** took it all out of the box and put the supports on just to find that it doesnt fit on my current tv stand lmao. Guess thats what i get for being too excited tryna use it before i move
 
If any of y'all are military, the Sony XBR75X850 ($2199 currently on AAFES), XBR75X940D (was as low as $2999 on AAFES) & 65X930D ($1499 at NEX) were at some nice prices around January, plus the no tax is nice, too. If you have a buddy, they may be able to help you out.
 
Probably picking up a tv today. Should I go with the 850d 65" for $1299 or the ks8000 60" for $1200? I'm replacing a 60" old sharp in my living room. Kinda wanted to got with a 65" but seeing the reviews are much better on the ks 8000. Mainly will be using it for tv viewing/Netflix/ sports. Occasional ps4 pro, but I have that hooked up in the man cave

Was at Best Buy yesterday, just to take a look around. 

Sony 850d on sale for $2500, for the 75".   Didn't realize it wasn't backlit LED though, only edgelit?  The 940d is backlit I believe, but costs about $1-2k more. 

The LG OLED were really, really nice.   The guy was telling us about the new "wallpaper" OLED from LG.  The screen is basically a flexible wallpaper, that you can attach to the wall or whatever you like... and the "computer" part is a separate piece underneath.   He didn't have on there, just had a info-packet on it.  Looked awesome, but I think it's gonna be like $6-8k ?

Qeustion, I know I'm extremely late, however, so LED is better than LCD correct? I recently purchase Samsung UHD 4K 6600 CURVED tv. Now I need to really do my research and see if it's an LED or LCD! Guess basally I'm on the look out for an LED or OLED tv.

Edit - Nevermind, it is LED :pimp:

In most cases yes. Led is better than lcd. However top lcd are better than led in 90% of categories
