The term "thot" is corny...

Where did it come from? Every few months i'll see nt'ers start using some corny new catchphrase or slang.

As you get older you realize two things

1) you cAnt keep up with every new thing

2) kids are dumb.

Ill be calling girls skeezers, scallywags, floozies and [garden tools] when these terms become dated, ill relish in my adulthood instead of trying to stay young.

That's what the term 'thot' means in my life.

But it is .... Like someone stated ... Just the youth .. I'm sure there were a bunch on your days. Why even call them garden tool? Be politically correct can call them ******.

true

remember in HS the word "chickenhead"

that was a big deal back in the day

i remember back when only street people spoke in slang , and only educated people spoke educated.....nowadays you got plies.........

100% stupid and why it's caught on or people saying it in conversations is idiotic.

I blame twitter and rap music and these "fake celebrities" endorsing it making it "sound cool"

I hate the word, but it seems to fit perfect for the women it describes . I'll never actually use it though, and have never heard it in public.

not that serious fam, well i never thought it was.

But i dont hang around people who constantly say the word outside of the internet and texts

It's an internet word, IMO. It's funny enough when it's typed out but it would sound weird being spoken out loud. Just kinds forced.
